It would have been a shame to not make it to Boxcar on main on our trip — fortunately, we made it there to have our last dinner in Berlin!It was a bit busy when we arrived, but we were able to sit at the bar and order immediately. Matt was the bartender and he was great — knew the drinks, knew the menu, and was really easy to talk to. For the few questions we had, he deferred to the kitchen staff.As a celiac, I was very happy to hear they have a gluten free dedicated fryer....
My wife and I each ordered a brunch entree, but we split one appetizer, and with tax the bill was a little under $47 -- very reasonable for the high quality food.The Bom Devilish Eggs was excellent.The Boxcar Chesapeake was excellent.The Burger and fries was excellent.A++ will return
I definitely recommend this place! We happened to stop by looking for a place that has gluten free options. The staff were super friendly and cool with our rambunctious son. The food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Woyobgc sandwich. Brisket, bacon jam, and sharp cheddar! The fries were super good as well! Gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer. Couldn’t ask fore more! We will be back.
