I'm a coffee professional and had been on a whirlwind road trip from PA to NC. It had been days of bad gas station coffee and I needed a fresh and well brewed cup of coffee. I searched along my route and found On What Grounds Cafe to be a short detour from my route. Great little local coffee shop. We had between us: iced coffees, smoothie, scone and breakfast sandwhich. Everything was yummy. Staff were friendly. The shop is really cute. Prices were competitve.
Great customer service and atmosphere, the woman working at the counter was very nice.The food was good, I have celiac disease and was able to get a gluten free espresso brownie and a pumpkin loaf. However, the iced mocha was dissapointing.
