I saw this place on Foodie Friday on the news so gave it a try. I drove 30 minutes each way to get this pizza. Ordered my pizza (HOOK) and requested lightly baked. Got it home and it was burnt. Called to tell management and the guy who made my pizza got on the phone and argued with me that he made the pizza and it was not burnt. Told him I would not be back and left a message for owner on messenger. Hoping to hear back from owner. An apology and a refund would have been the proper way to handle this complaint. I will not be returning.

Finally got a chance to try this place after hearing countless amazing reviews from friends and family … by far the best pizza on the shore 🔥 11/10 highly recommend coming here

Best part about here is that they grate fresh Parmesan on straight out the tabletop oven slice. Usually can get a whole pie but it was Halloween so slices only. The names of slices are funny bc it definitely dates the generations. Like I didn’t know who Lou was but his toppings were the way to go lol

So, solid 3 stars. Best texture I've had since leaving New York. Dough is imported from New York so that makes sense. Flavor on the other hand, is sorely lacking. The dough tastes like it either never had salt or is over proofed. I got the James t Kirk. I'm not sure they added any spices to the sauce, may just be tomatoes. Certainly all the ingredients are top notch, Don't get me wrong, it tastes good, but it's certainly not NYC level pizza. it lacks depth and complexity, the flavors are all on the front end and don't have any follow through.

Stellar slice shop. Creative, quality toppings, perfect crispy thin crust, cool vibe. Vintage Ninja Turtles toys and Cap’n Crunch boxes decorating the walls. Best pizza in the 3 lower counties of MD’s eastern shore.
They have a great product! We went to 2 pizza joints in downtown berlin and another just down the road within an hour. We found this place to be #1 The cheese was not oily. Maybe they use low fat cheese. The sauce was good and the crust was near perfect! Not a sit down restaurant but they do have a few high tops and a bench outside.
Parking: Several places to park. Taylor bank parking as well Street parking and an easy walk around this beautiful town

The Cap’ns Slice makes by far the best pizza I’ve ever had!!! I just got back from Italy & the pizza there can’t compare to Cap’ns - went with my family & ordered different varieties that they offer & we all said the same delicious!!! & the crust is the way pizza crust is supposed to be cooked - the owner is so nice & the woman so accommodating & pleasant - wish they were in Yorktown:) If your ever in Berlin Maryland you must get pizza at Cap’ns Slice!!!
