I have never seen a longe run out of liquor that’s how I know they are not serious and wait almost and hour and 1/12 for hookah. If u have time to waste perfect place to be. If u wanna have a good good time Maybe wait till winter. It was my birthday. So sad

So I'm new to town and was looking for something low key and chill I love Afrobeats and Caribbean music so was looking for that atmosphere and came across this spot on Google.....Their parking lot was full I was able to find parking up the road there was a $10 cover charge they have a DJ who was pretty good there is a very limited bar selection I wouldn't trust the ice the place doesn't look to clean looks like they also have hooka available I don't smoke it so couldn't say if it was good or not they have an outside patio which was a vibe I enjoyed being out there more but can't recall if I could hear the music. There is a guy grilling out back as well whatever the name of that RICE I received in my platter with chicken and plantains was so good I'm still thinking about it ? but he was also grilling fish and I believe suya. Overall not really my atmosphere alil on the rachet hood side but I did enjoy myself everyone was in their own zone vibing that's always a good thing just wish they had Patron. I will be back for the RICE?
This is place is okay and is not as better then the zion restaurant on Montana Ave NE and I will prefer ? the Zion restaurant to the Base any time and any day!!!! The zion restaurant atmosphere is more calm and the people are so opening and they are not mean or if you are hungry they will not mind going out there pocket to feed a wound person ? ?. God help those who help themselves!!!!!!
