My Go-To location! ???Typically fresh food good serviceUnfortunately this occasion was completly different, I went on april 8th between 7-11pm, a Male by the name of Jose (Manager) attended me, and was completely Rude, unprofessional and all around nonchalant. He stated he's been w/ checkers for a long time and could do whatever thr f he wants, as I reacted and made a comment back.

This location varies from day to day. They are fairly quick. Make sure to check your bags and food before you leave. We ordered a mushroom Swiss burger. I had to wait which was not a problem but I was in a hurry. As I was pulling away we noticed the sandwhich was fish. I had already left the parking lot had to turn around and go back. When we pulled up they knew their mistake and apologized. I had no problem until I saw what they did. Evidently i got the people behind me order...the employees took the bag I handed them removed the fish sandwhich placed it in the correct bag and handed out the window to the other customer. I had to wait for them to finish my mushroom burger. I was just a little shocked that they took food from me and just gave it to another customer. They didn't even open the sandwhich to check. I mean I could have done anything with that and they would never know. Kinda scary. Haven't been back since and don't plan on it. It's disappointing because we don't have many fast food options and checkers is a nice treat sometimes. Parking lot is rough. The staff is friendly, just very young and inexperienced.

Annapolis Rd MD YES!!!! I travel all the way from Georgia Ave and Piney Branch NW reasons they have the happiness and most attentive staff. The food is not overly salted and greasey. Just to die for????Dietary restrictions: You can ask for no salt options

Restaurant online says restaurant closes at 1am on sunday 1/7/24 but they say they were closed this was at 12:40 am told me they close because they put all the food away that should begin at 1 am if you hungry and need to make a last minute late night rush for food dont rush here smh

I'm very Upset now my Daughter been working at Checkers from March 2021, in busy, and slow Period, a School student, My Daughter just called me that the Manager Bessy Alvarado tell her to leave she's fired, my Daughter told me she was in the Line taking a customer order for some reason the customer was talking fast and low and I couldn't hear, so I ask another staff to assist, Now the Manager just say to me to leave I'm fired, even if I couldn't hear, there wasn't any warning, now my Daughter is a young Student, getting ready to go college, this is her first job and as a student this is how she's been treated, my Daughter been working just to save up for College, I would really would like a explanation if that's how you just Treat staff, That's is the future Generation, and when Society it they Claims they don't have a clue, when they are the ones who should steer the young Generation into the right way, I pray that my Daughter will continue to hold her head up high, cause she's very determined and she will never stop until she reaches her Goal, this is just a worst experience for her At Checkers.

Don't understand the negative reviews because I have always had great experiences with this location, even during the mid-days on weekends. Staff are very friendly and efficient. When you need something to tide you over between meals or just a picker upper, this is your place. Oh, and make sure you compliment the on-duty manager if you get good service so they can continue looking out for their stellar employees.
