The food was really good here. I lived in California and eat authentic Mexican food all the time. This is definitely authentic Mexican in the dining room has much character. They are still working on it and once they are finished it's going to be really nice. That's the only reason I didn't get it five stars in each category.
The food was delicious, the service was horrible. There were only four tables with patrons and the times between the waitress would check on us and to pay our bill. There was a group of waitresses too busy talking in the corner to wait on their customers. I was not going to leave a tip but lo and behold there was a mandatory gratuity of 10% for me and my wife! No wonder she didn’t have to provide any service, she knew she was getting paid regardless. I’m not coming back here...
The food is very good, only one thing I didn't like is the cash prices and card prices, meaning they charge you the tip without the customer's authorization and if you pay with card there is an extra
