I had to be dragged here cuz I thought I wouldn't like pho. I was wrong- it was delicious! Can't wait to go again.
Unassuming, don't sleep on Bladensburg's Pho Tai 63. Open Thursday through Monday at noon, the parking lot was almost full at 11:50am with people waiting to get inside. It's that good!
Dining for lunch with a friend who grew up in Vietnam, we both enjoyed our pho. There are 13 choices and the broth is full of flavor. I order the #4 small and it was plenty of food. It comes full of herbs and a side of bean sprouts, basil, and jalapenos.
Service is friendly and quick.
The space is no frills, but it adds to the experience!
Love this place.. just wish they would answer the phone
Best in the area hands down. Pho broth is like a liquid hug.
This place is top tier, one of the best Pho spots I’ve been too, it checks all the boxes, let me break it down.
1. Soup was hot temperature wise, how I like it
2. The broth was flavorful, had a hint of sweetness to it
3. The noodle to chicken to broth ratio was excellent. Some places you’re halfway through and you run out of noodles and chicken. Not here, I had just as many noodles half way though from when I started and I fished the noddies and broth with several pieces of chicken left over
4. The chicken was shredded pulled chicken with no fat, in just the right sizes, and plentiful as I mentioned above
5. The table had all the necessary accoutrements, even a napkins holder which comes in handy for the runny nose
6. The toppings were fresh and plentiful
7. The service was fast and friendly

The most flavorful pho I've tasted in my life so far! I order to go almost once a week here. My order is always ready within 10-15 minutes. The best dish by far is the bun bo hue. I've never had bun bo hue before this place so its my first impression and I cant compare or say whether its authentic or not. But it is the main thing I order. And you are able to make replacement i.e replacing the udon noodles with pho noodles. The pho noodles are great quality, they dont melt or become sludgy or sticky or break apart like I've experience in other places. If I'm recovering from an illness, I'll get the chicken pho and it tastes great as well. The portions are amazing for the price. With a small size, I'm still able to have leftovers for later. Overall the service and the food are consistently good and I recommend

I usually get take out because it’s not very spacious inside. However, this is the only place in the DMV where I get pho. I’ve tried others in DC, VA, and MD, this is hands down the best. I never order appetizers so I can’t review those food options.

This is the best pho spot I’ve tried since being in the DMV. The broth is flavorful which other places lack. It’s a small establishment and they can get very busy but that speaks to how delicious the food is. It can be difficult to place phone orders because they won’t answer the phone if they’re busy, but service is still fast if a to-go order is placed in person. Customer service is always good.
Parking: Small lot and parking is nonexistent when they’re busy.

Probably the best Bun Bo Hue in the DMV area. Better than Eden Center.
But have Bun Bo Hue only for lunch,. broth becomes too concentrated at dinner time, too much fish taste. Taste is perfect from opening till ~3/4:30 pm. Wouldn't get Bun Bo Hue near closing time.
Great ambience inside, good music selection too.
Little on the pricier side though still well-priced, but definitely worth it.
Parking: Not too much parking space but should be able to get a slot if you wait just a little bit

Quite literally a hidden gem, tucked across from an AutoZone, and next to an old meat market, tire shop, and possibly abandoned fashion store. If you didn't know it existed, you might miss it entirely if not for the sign.
They focus on one type of meal, and due to that focus, they've clearly mastered the art.
Just as delicious as any trendy Pho place in DC that costs 3 times as much.
If your kids don't like soup, the grilled chicken and rice will be right up there alley.
Parking: Just park across the street at the "grocery store"/AutoZone.
