For me, I didnt have a good experience here. Customer Service needs to be worked on.
Really disappointing portion size. The salmon dinner entree was maybe a 4oz portion from the tail end of the fish. Cooked well, but missed the mark for $30. Had a bite of my wife’s NY strip and it was very tough (cooked med. rare). Good flavors, but quality was lacking. Also had reservations and was given the same wait time as a walk-in.

Waited 75 minutes for food. First time there wanted to try something different, with all the restaurant in the area don’t think we will be back.

My partner and I made reservations to go here for Valentine’s Day. We arrived at 6:15 and didn’t leave until 8:30 because of the food taking forever and our server was swamped with people. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri, but it didn’t taste like strawberry at all just rum. I ordered the filet, and it was severely undercooked, I asked for a medium well, they gave me a rare steak. I asked to recook, and half of it was medium well and the other half was still rare. The food was just bland overall. Not sure if we would go here again due to the quality of the food and it was very overpriced. Our sever was very sweet, and I felt bad because she had a lot to deal with.

Worst dining experience ever. What a joke. Let me tell you first, I have worked in fine dining and casual fine dining as a server. I no longer do that, but I was trained well and consider to be a professional .
My family and I went for Valentines and our experience was terrible. One of the worst dining experiences of my life.
My first red flag , we had a reservation and when seated, far in the back and the table wasn’t ready for 4 people. I had to ask the hostess for more silverware and a later a wine menu. Then our appetizer came before our drinks and the server gave us plates after the fact. Not to mention the sever carried our drinks hugging to her body, gross. Don’t you have trays?
Our $18 dip came with 5 slices of small baguette and we were charged for extra bread. What is there a bread shortage? We were ignored for most of the time, and then we placed our orders, and 40 minutes later while my husband and I were waiting for our entrees, and my kids were eating, the server came back and told me that they were out of my entree. Isn’t there any communication with the kitchen and back of the house? So unprofessional.
I was so annoyed that I don’t want to order anything else, and said I didn’t want to wait and to share my husbands entree that wee were still waiting for. Instead of asking, it was brought to our table in a to go box.
Instead of the server making sure we were ok. She kept saying sorry we are really busy. That’s bs, because we were paying a lot of money for overpriced food. I could work circles at her and waited on more people at a time than her. So inefficient and slow.
I finally tracked down the manager because she didn’t. I would asked him to go out table if guests were unhappy. He managed to get our meals right away and comped my dinner, as he should.
If you are going to charge that much for meals , you should have servers that know how to serve in a casual dining environment. If not, then they need to go back to Cracker Barrel. We will never eat there again.

My wife and I decided to try something new and left very disappointed. We were informed they were out of four entrees crab cakes, a chicken dish, lasagna, and short ribs. We started our meal with the worst Calamari that tasted as if it was covered in salt, mayonnaise as a dipping sauce and they forgot half the squid in the tank. Next we had chicken Alfredo that tasted like subpar jar Alfredo sauce very bland, then the beef stroganoff with beef stew steaks bites and gravy. It appeared they split a normal portion of noodles between the two of us. To top it all off they had no sides with the meal, my wife chose to order a SIDE Caesar salad and was charged $10 extra for a bowl of lettuce. The table was missing salt pepper no drink menu and we sat by a door that wasn’t properly sealed and it was cold. Best thing we had was the beer. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere you won’t regret your decision like I am!

Food is always good. Mimosa had no bubbles. Didn't complain because I had originally asked if the bartender would make a drink off menu & he refused. Quietly drank my juice instead. Haha
Let me first start off by saying our server Danielle was great, went above and beyond on a super stressful night. Place was packed, definitely not prepared for the amount of people BUT me and my fiance enjoyed our meal and we had a great time. Thank you Danielle! We’ll see you for brunch in April.

I guess without the south mountain inn fine dinning hasn’t returned to Boonsboro!

I booked a reservation here for Valentines evening dinner and we arrived before our reservation time at 8:45 PM and weren't seated until 925 and then did not get our food until 11:45 PM. The food was cooked correctly and had good flavor, but the customer service was very poor. The building was filling with smoke from the cooking area and they had to open doors to air out the building, but because it was so cold, it would let all of the heat out many other customers had the same issue where they were waiting hours for a plate of food, and the prices were a bit extreme for the portion sizes and quality of food that was served they were out of multiple items when we went to order, but the decor at the restaurant was tasteful and I honestly don't think it is a restaurant that I will go to again because I don't typically like to sit for two and three hours before getting to eat
Had a reservation on Valentine's Day for 7:45 pm. Got a table right away. I understand this is one of the busiest days of the year. However it was 9:48pm and still had no food at that point our whole table wasn't even hungry anymore. Our waitress was great but very disappointed with the experience overall. Asked for the check was charged $20 a side salad which is insane. Paid $109 and all we received was a couple drinks and 3 side salads.
My boyfriend and I went to try Branded Chophouse for the first time for a nice Valentine’s dinner last night (Friday February 13th, 2026 - reservation for 6:30pm). I was so excited to have a nice date night with a cute Valentine’s Day special menu that required a reservation. Parking was a disaster. Walking in, we saw the front dining area was packed and filled with families. We assumed we would be sitting in this front dining area, but instead we were taken into this weird unfinished back room with no ambiance besides 2 TVs with videos of a fireplace. No silverware was on our table, but we assumed it would be brought later with our food. Very odd, but we appreciated that it was separated from the families and was a lot more quiet. We were sat in this weird sort of party room that clearly was not finished, with no music going. It was so awkward for the 5 other couples that were sat back here as well. It took around 15 minutes for our server to come buy to take our orders, but during this time, we started to hear some problems the surrounding tables were having. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri off the Valentine’s Day Drink Menu, which took 15 minutes to arrive. When she brought the drink, we ordered our Baked Brie Appetizer ($14), and 2 entrees - the Blackened Chicken Alfredo ($22) with a side caesar salad ($10, which is crazy) and the 8oz Filet with Veg of the Day and Mashed Potatoes ($52 - also crazy). It took another 30 minutes for our Brie appetizer, still no silverware. My SIDE salad was also brought at this time, even though I was hoping it would come out with my entree. This happened to everyone else around us who ordered a side salad as well. We asked for the person who brought the Brie (not our server) to bring us some silverware and she said she would be right back. Spoiler alert - she did not come right back with silverware. It took another 15 minutes for someone to finally come back and check on all of the couples there, where we asked a second time for silverware. We did finally get our silverware, but at this point our appetizer was cold. The server offered to reheat it for us, but we said no, thinking it would take another 30 minutes. It might’ve taken another 45 minutes for our actual entrees to come out. During this time, we noticed how many times we had runners come up to the tables in our area and asked each and every one of us “did anyone order this?” like they never knew where they were taking the food they were running. Additionally, another couple was brought back to a newly opened table, and unfortunately had to wait for a good 25 minutes for someone to even speak to them, and a server only walked up because another couple spoke up to their OWN server to let her know that that table hadn’t been seen and it had been close to 30 minutes since they sat down. Once we finally got our meal around an hour and a half after our reservation time, the food was not what we expected for how much we paid. The chicken on the Alfredo was amazing, but the Alfredo sauce was plain. The filet was good, cooked well, but the sides were kind of meh. We had no issues with the food. Our waitress came up again and asked if we needed anything else and if we were interested in a dessert menu. I ordered the White Chocolate and Strawberry Martini and we asked to look at the menu, just to see if anything looked appetizing. It took my second drink another 20 minutes to be brought to me and we were told the only dessert they have was the Peach Cobbler dessert, everything else was sold out. We said no thanks, and asked for the check. At this point, we were so frustrated at how long our wait had been when we had a reservation. Took another 10 minutes to get our check and another 10 get out. We spent 2 and a half hours at this place and even though the food was ok and our waitress was doing her very best for the amount of people there, we will not be coming back unfortunately. For the prices we paid, we expected better service. Unfortunately this event was very unorganized and definitely overbooked.

For Valentine's Day, we decided to try Branded Chophouse as they had reservation openings at a more appropriate time on OpenTable ... we now know why. We arrived for our 7:15p reservation and at 9:15p, we left as we still hadn't received our dinner. The manager never came by our table. I learned from a crying waitress in the restroom they purposefully overbooked the restaurant. By 7:30p, they were crashing. They were out of filets, out of scalloped potatoes, and out of specific desserts. The crowded kitchen began billowing smoke around 8:30p, and the hosts propped open the front door to the 40F weather. All of the tables around us (and every table is on top of each other) were waiting for food, not just us. I overheard a 9-top wanted a full refund. Waitresses indicated tables were being comped items, but no one comped anything for us. The manager never came to us or any of the waiting tables around us to try and make anything better. As we announced “time of death” to the night, a waitress brought us 2 chocolate strawberries to say sorry as we were kind to the waitstaff; the situation wasn't their fault. So much could have been handled differently ... it was so bad we thought maybe this was a new restaurant, but they've been in business for two years. Success comes from the top, and it's obvious this restaurant needs new leadership.
The food was delicious and the plating was extremely eye appealing! My wife was looking forward to the surf and turf but they sold out of the filet which happens with a limited menu for Valentine's menu and got the crab cakes and loved them. The chicken Viennese was crisp and the risotto was pretty good. Chimichurri steak appetizer was perfection, steak was like butter and the sauce had a slight spice kick. Drinks were made just right. We sat in a party room the server said they used for that night and it was quiet with the exception of a 10 top that was celebrating. Look forward to going back for another meal soon.
