Being a D.C. native, I’m usually weary when it comes to getting food in rural places. Typically- I’m afraid that it will be bland or overpriced because it’s a small business in the middle of nowhere Maryland. HOWEVER. This place was so good! The food was priced well, seasoned AMAZINGLY, and the portions? Out of this world. Must try deli, skip the Subway and come here.

Husband ordered the $22 Pit Beef Combo (pit beef sandwich with fries). The beef was bland, the bun was soggy, and the fries tasted like they were day old and reheated in warm (not hot) oil...they were soggy not crispy. My club sandwich ($13) was good. Also ordered a Dr. Pepper ($3.50) that tasted so gross I could only take 2 tiny sips...tasted like it was run through a dirty machine. Wound up throwing the whole large cup of it away. The service was good though and there was a shaded picnic area to eat.

HIGHLY recommend! Was visiting from an hour & a half away. Randomly googled where I could get lunch & chose this place. I have ALL good things to say about it! The menu & the food is amazing! The girl running the front was super sweet! I regret not getting more food to bring home! I want to visit the area again just to come to eat here again! Excellent service!

I used to go to this place all the time but I moved so I haven’t been here in a while. I was recently in the area and made a lunch visit. I have to say I was very disappointed. The first thing I notice on a frigid 20 degree day is that I could no longer go inside to order. I had to stand in the cold to order. I thought it would be worth it for an amazing lunch however, when I asked if I could have my bun toasted I was told they do not have a toaster. Don’t you have a grill? Couldn’t you toast it on your griddle? That was pretty disappointing and then when I received my order I asked if they had ketchup and mayo packets and she said they don’t have mayo packets and only gave me ketchup. Could she not put some in a little container for me?? I spent $20 for a 6” sub order of fries and a small drink. Like WTH am I paying for??? Definately not the service!! I opened my sub and the bread was actually cold!!!! I will never ever go back here again. Thanks for charging me out the ass and not even trying to accommodate me. They also have Christmas stuff out but it’s hard to walk around everything to order a sandwich. I think the owner needs to rethink their business strategy. Horrible horrible horrible service

HUGE mums and a great selection and prices. So many different plants and wonderful sales.
This spot also sells food, drinks, shakes, and has a space that is covered if you want to sit and eat.

Driven past here hundreds of times had never stopped. Went with my daughter today. Got a pit beef sandwich really good and my daughter got a burger. We split an order of fries which were really good.

Excellent food! Excellent service. The pork bbq sandwich was so good along with the smoked beans. I’m not big on fries but these were perfect. I could smell how fresh my wife’s BLT was as she opened it. Didn’t even have room to have the ice cream.
