The loveliest people and great food. Even the hot sauce is made there! The owner has celiacs so she can help you navigate the menu easily. Also bought some gorgeous local art made by a local woman in her 80s! Thanks for the lively chat, too. ❤️

Greeted with smiles and kindness, very friendly quaint little place so far, owner explained future plans and sounded fantastic. Breakfast was great as expected. Will most definitely eat and relax here again in the very near future!!! Thank you ladies!!

Enjoyed the food today. We were the only family in the restaurant. Shopowner told us about the soda shoppe they are planning. Can't wait to slide by and play some old school pinball.

Amazing food. EVERYTHING is homemade. Wonderful food. My entire family ate a most delicious ham, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole and homemade rolls. It couldn’t have tasted any better. Even my picky eater enjoyed it.

I enjoy eating here. This morning I decided to try Bonnie’s at The Red Bird, and I ended up leaving before ordering because the staff were quite unwelcoming. I decided to come down to the convenience store diner and was greeted by a friendly young man who was very polite and checked on me regularly to ensure the food was good, and it was. I’ll certainly be returning as the staff are friendly and the food is great.

What a local place. Stopped in Boonsboro on the way to Shepardstown. After stopping at some lovely shops we wanted to eat and decided on Dream Diner. We had scrambled eggs and ham and they were excellent. Not much of a place but the young man who served us was so pleasant. A woman who had made the eggs was there and told us she was preparing Thanksgiving meals for 70 families who might not have meals. This place might not meet everyone’s standards but we loved it.

Great place to end our day in Hagerstown and Antietam National Battlefield. Food, service and a nice small town diner experience.

Omelette was large and delicious! Coffee was very old. They had a big water container sitting on the stairs in dining room that they used to refill water pitcher for guests. Staff was friendly, but lost a star for "hovering" too much; we could barely have a conversation without being asked if we needed anything multiple times! Also, the place was cluttered and not very clean.

Service was good, they were attentive but there was only one other group of people when we went there. Mediocre food, the nachos were what you get a 7/11 nothing special, tater tots were undercooked. Heard the microwave go off a lot as we waited for our food. Bland decor, tables/chairs looked like they were from an Chinese takeout restaurant that closed. The straw holder was a taped down plastic shot glass, which was a choice. The restroom was dirty, with no hand soap. Should just stick to the mini mart part of the business not the dream diner. A fly joined us at our table our whole visit, too bad the fly swatters that were out were trapped under menus, could've used them. Overall it was all just "ok" and not worth the price, for health reasons we will not be returning.
