My husband and I stopped to get ice cream after visiting with family that live down the street. We were so shocked at how great their soft serve is. Tastes better than our favorite (now previous fave), DQ! It's worth the long drive to go get more.
This place is amazing: friendly, fast service, low prices, and HUGE portions! The ice cream is delicious and they have a really good selection of flavors. My daughter tried black cherry ice cream for the first time and raved about it so much that she begged us to drive the 90+ miles to visit again. It's honestly so good that I think the drive is worth it, too! It was a highlight of our weekend trip.
They're basically giving the ice cream away at Potomac Street Creamery, where low prices and enormous portion sizes combine to really give you value for your dollar. The ice cream is delicious too. The cones, which appear to have been baked in house, were yummy too. We stopped here on a roadtrip but our five year old demanded that we take her here again one day and she didn't care that it was 90 miles away from our house: she said it would be worth the trip back!
