I went for the 4 meat platter. Not only was it less food but the ribs and brisket wasn't even BBQ it was cooked in the oven and they didn't even cut the brisket right they didn't cut it against the grain. I miss the original owner he knew how to BBQ. Welp they lost my business.

Fried wings and fries were on point for lunch! Peach cobbler was tasty to my husband and he hates almost all cooking besides his own. Nice environment, very clean

This place sucks and is a rip off! I paid $20 for 2 little nasty overcooked, overpriced and sad chunks of cut up meat with 2 lifeless sides. A beef rib is supposed to be twice as long and have way more meat. Not sure what "Texas" they're referring to, but Ive lived in Austin and I know Texas beef ribs do not taste like what these people are selling here. There was no "bark" or crust or any sort of texture on the outside. I think they baked them. BBQ is supposed to be smoked. What in the world are y'all doin? Cole slaw tasted old, soggy and bland. Potato salad tastes like it's from a giant container from Restaurant Depot. My family will never return and I'm letting everyone know it sucks! I should have read the reviews.... At least my dog liked it

So disappointing ?. I saw the mix reviews but decided to try it for myself. The chicken looked 3 days old, dry and tasted as if it was baked without any type of seasoning. The ribs tasted as if it was prepared at home as well. The brisket was moist. However, no seasoning at all!!! I could not eat a full fork of the potato salad. The baked beans were good to dipped the brisket in for flavor.Overall, just very disappointed.Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I expected so much more for the $60 we spent ...not including the $6 tip for typing in my order??‍♀️?

They refused to engage me after I had called an order in, NOT a business wise policy in place, I waited for 10 minutes, never heard a "hello, may I help you", or go to hell get out of here", nothing, they acted as though I wasn't there. Therefore I will never return & advise all passerbys not too as well.????Two thumbs down! Minus 5 star rating.

Great local place for BBQ. They have full-size spare ribs, not the St. Louis style that cuts off the best part of the rib

I went there on Saturday just before mother's day. I wanted pulled pork. This was my first visit ever. I checked out the outside appearance of the establishment first. The windows and doors were smudged. When I walked in the guy at the register did not have his mask covering his nose so I didn't have a problem asking him to do so especially since I work for the Health Department. He complied. Then I placed my order. The aroma of barbecue smelled great but then I looked at the workers in the back and everyone back there cooking were improperly mask. I politely canceled my order and left without my barbecue. My son tell me the place has gone down since covid and is not being operated by the original owner.

The food is not what it use to be. My coworker and I would always make a vist when in the area, but not anymore.Chicken didnt even taste like it was bbq, it was dry.. Corn bread was burnt. Sweet tea tasted like water and lots of sugar. The owner nor his son was present so whoever is running the show needs to throw in the towel. Sad to see the quality is not there anymore

Texas is only in the name -- not in the food! I ordered the brisket, baked beans, coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Let's start with the beans -- bland and right out of a can, cheaper version of Bush's baked beans. Mac and cheese: dry, and bland. Clumpy from being overcooked. Coleslaw: I took one bite and had to spit it into a napkin -- it was bad, tasted like it had been sitting out in the heat. On to the brisket... I thought I ordered brisket, what I got was more like burnt roast beef with water poured on top of it. No flavor and the fat was not rendered, I'm pretty sure it was not smoke but boiled. The corn bread was soaked and tasted like corn water. The sweet tea however was great and served Texas style. I was extremely disappointed with the food and will not be back. One star is a stretch, the service was not friendly either.

This was my first visit to this establishment. The wait was not long and the service was decent. Prices about average? I consider it disappointing that they can run out of cabbage/greens/yams before closing. Tried both the pork ribs (St Louis style) and beef ribs, and both shined on their own merits; I was extremely impressed with both. The green beans tasted fresh. The Mac and cheese was just ok; I think it is missing something to better homogenize the cheese/pasta ratio, and I think a better cheese should be used that doesn’t come out so flavorless in the end product. The BBQ really shined here and satisfied my craving.I intend to come here again, but definitely at an earlier time of day. I will mention that there was a good deal of activity going on out front on a Saturday night. By that I mean people posted up who are not an obvious patron to any specific business. A stranger approached my vehicle waving money and possibly trying to buy something, he looked strung out. I’m not sure if this is the norm as I remember Brandywine being a quiet kinda rural area?
