The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. The staff were competent and accommodating. We were in a separate portion of the restaurant, but never felt disconnected or ignored. That had much to do with Luca, our server. Amazing at his attentiveness and interaction.Front of house/owner: if your staff interacts with guests and make them feel welcome, that is a positive for the guests.Overall, we will be going back again and really enjoyed the evening. Ordered wings, hummus platter, and other food. All were great.Thank you!

It was freezing in there and I didn't get the coffee I ordered BEFORE the presentation until AFTER the presentation, so, I sat there and froze!!! The food was also cold & the steak was not cooked medium rare as requested.

I have been there twice with my husband. The first time was an unpleasant experience on Valentine's Day. Service was not attentive and we and another table complained: wait was exceedingly long to place our order, receive our drinks, appetizers and meal. The manager apologized, provided gift cards for us to have a meal there in the future. In contrast, our second experience was excellent. When we presented the gift cards, the waiter knew if was from Valentine's Day because they were short if staff and many patrons complained. The good thing is that the manager responded appropriately and tried to rectify the problem and not lose us as patrons. I recommend the Silo Falls and accept our first experience as an anomaly. We would not hesitate to go again.

The location is so cute and we had high expectations. However the food was mediocre at best and small portions that left us hungry at brunch. For the price of the food, it was very disappointing. The restaurant was also quite echoing and surprisingly loud with only a few tables filled. They also had loud country music was playing which very much killed the beautiful historic manor elegance.

We went to celebrate Leap Day!! Have always wanted to try it and finally did. Read reviews before going but we found it pleasant. We had reservations at 8 so it was pretty quiet by then. Had a seat by the fireplace. Very nice vibe inside. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is nice to enjoy the outdoor patio. Our dinners were tasty and service was good.

The food was getting much better until a few months ago, then it became below par... like the chef isn't skilled enough for this place

This was the third time we ate at the restaurant, and it wasn't a good experience in terms of the food. We had a group of 5. The portions served in 4 of the meals were rather small. The person who had the fish and chips in our party thought the fish taken liked something that you would get buy frozen at a grocery store. Another person found the chicken in their sandwich to be tough. Service and ambience were good.

I read some of the reviews before I came. There opinions did not seem accurate to saying this was too dry,or this was over seasoned. My son who was there used to work as a chef said, most people complain about the noise or service, but when complain about the food usually they are being critical. My brother in law got the pork chops , loved it. My wife loved the crab soup and grain bowl. I got the crab cake dinner, crab cake was all crab. My niece got the chicken pasta dish, she usually saves half her dinner for work, she ate it all, oops'Waiter was awesome no complaints.lots of specials all week.

Our server handled the evening very well, despite one server not coming in for work and the team being down a person. We were seated at a table in the bar area which was quieter than the dining rooms (+) and had super comfortable chairs (+) We always enjoy the Monday Burger Nights!

Silo Falls is a lovely venue and a nice place to dine with friends . However, overall, the food was disappointing. The cream of crab soup was very good but the main courses had real problems. My salmon was dry, the side dish of mashed potatoes was oversalted and the green beans were way undercooked, actually difficult to cut with a knife. The pepper corns on my husband's porkchop over powered the dish. We chose to split a piece of blue berry cheese cake for dessert which turned out to be nothing special. We enjoyed our visit with friends but were sorry the food didn't meet our expectations.

Although the menu was rather limited for a Friday during Lent, the kitchen allowed us to substitute shrimp, salmon or a crab cake for chicken on the pasta dishes which was great. Wine pours were generous. Draft beer selection was robust. Crab soup was very good. Lobster ravioli was the hit of the night loaded with lobster meat. Very nice outing, we had asked for a "quiet" sitting area. We were seated next to a group of eight celebrating a birthday so there were moments when it was difficult to have a discussion.
