DON'T drive by this little store without stopping in. Their burgers are perfectly cooked, ample in size, plus the ingredient and accoutrements are fresh and delicious. Considering anything kinda comparable, their pricing and portions are significantly better than Five Guys and Shake Shack.
I suggested this place to a couple friends when visiting (we lived in the area 6 years ago). It was a delight to see that little has changed in both the quality of the food and the character of the location.
It's probably for the best that I live 110 miles away now, because otherwise I'd be here too often.
BTW they serve breakfast stuff which I'm sure is also excellent.
Incidentally, sorry we caught you 7 minutes from closing! We appreciated the excellent food!

Sunshine has the best burgers in Maryland. The 5 stars for atmosphere is because when you pull up to the gas pumps, and also when you walk into the store, you feel as though you are on the set of Stranger Things, channeling 1981.
Laura and the ladies at the grill are super nice. It is always a great experience to get burgers from Sunshine Gas & Grill.

Picked up a bacon & cheese burger with everything on it--made within 15 minutes and was super good. Would be coming in more often if I lived closer!
