Probably the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We walked out after an hour and a series of failures! Would liked to have talked to a manager but the hostess said they had 2 managers quit in the last week and she had not seen the current manager on duty for at least an hour. I guess that says a lot about the restaurant. Steer clear!

One person in our party ordered a sandwich & ask to leave off the onions & feta in the side. Sandwich came w/ onions. She sent it back & returned w/o onions except for one onion. That person is allergic to onions & the kitchen removed the onions from the existing sandwich rather than making a new one. New sandwich came out w/o onions but now covered w/ feta. Brought this matter to the manager who comped the meal. Otherwise, the rest of the party enjoyed what they had.

Lunch service was slow on Friday outside. There were just a few tables and a couple of visible servers. Not sure where our server kept disappearing to. But slow on the order taking, slow on getting the food, slow on follow up, We had one person on a dead line and was needing to move along. I felt bad for her. The food is good but the service was certainly lacking.

Really enjoyed our visit to Manor at Silo Falls. Lots of great spaces to sit both inside and outside. We were on the side patio and it was beautiful and peaceful setting. Food, especially the cream of crab soup, was outstanding. Service was also excellent. Will be back again soon.

We love Silo Falls for the ambiance and location. It's close to home for us. We didn't used to think the food was very good but when we've been recently we noticed it was much improved and we're told that there's a new chef. We love to take our dog and sit outside on nice days. Perfect location, beautiful views outside, great ambience inside and great food and plenty of parking! You can't ask for more than that.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and did not realize that the full menu was not available until 4:30. We had gone with the idea of having the main Sunday meal at 2:30 in the afternoon, but only the brunch menu was available. The grounds are picturesque. The Manor has multiple rooms which significantly divided up the guests providing a quieter atmosphere that was great for visiting with friends. A fire warmed the room on a 53 degree day. On the minus side of multiple rooms, our waiter didn't know that we were there and we had to request service. Once waiter came, he was great after that. The food was good for brunch food, but we'll need to go back to sample the dinner menu.

Yuck! Ordered the lox platter. Bagel is of the frozen variety. Came out cold (despite being toasted). Tiniest portion of cream cheese, which was hard as a rock. Service was friendly, but inattentive. I've given this restaurant several tries, but each visit is more disappointing than the last.

Overpriced. But what isn't these days.

The overall experience was lovely. Our waitress was attentive and very sweet. Only issues: we were seated at a table right next to a roaring fireplace on a 77 degree day. We had to ask twice but eventually it was turned off. We had an order of eggs Benedict and Chesapeake Benedict - both were a little dry and almost completely lacking in some sort of sauce. Everything else was amazing. We will most definitely return.

Emanuel was the best server! So pleasant, attentive and courteous! He made great food suggestions. When we ordered our dinner, my son ordered a glass of wine. Emanuel clarified whether he'd like the wine now or with dinner. Something I don't take for granted. Having such a great server took a really nice dinner to the next level!

Overall it was a very disappointing event. I am used to much better Brunch spreads. It was so incomplete like no eggs to go with the Bacon. I will definitely will not dine here again

I have been there twice with my husband. The first time was an unpleasant experience on Valentine's Day. Service was not attentive and we and another table complained: wait was exceedingly long to place our order, receive our drinks, appetizers and meal. The manager apologized, provided gift cards for us to have a meal there in the future. In contrast, our second experience was excellent. When we presented the gift cards, the waiter knew if was from Valentine's Day because they were short if staff and many patrons complained. The good thing is that the manager responded appropriately and tried to rectify the problem and not lose us as patrons. I recommend the Silo Falls and accept our first experience as an anomaly. We would not hesitate to go again.

We were seated in a lovely private room for my husband's 85th birthday. I highly recommend the crab dip appetizer. Everyone ordered something different from the lunch menu and we all agreed that it was very good. My husband loves cherry pie. Our daughter checked with the restaurant and they said it was OK to bring our own dessert and light candles. The restaurant happily supplied plates and forks. A truly delightful day!!

We have been to Silo Falls several times and have found inconsistency in both the food and service. On our most recent visit we had to send our steaks back, they appeared as if they had either been reheated or sitting for a period of time -they were barely warm and there was little to no juice on the outside or inside. The new steaks were perfectly cooked, warm and juicy. Service was fair. After we finished our meal she asked if we wanted desserts, and told us they had two options available-she never gave us the dessert menu. Since we had seen a larger dessert menu on the website we asked if she was sure, and said yes. We saw another server delivering different desserts to a nearby table and asked him - he promptly gave us a dessert menu with several options available, more than the two quoted by our server. We will probably give them one more chance, but the inconsistency is enough to make it not our first choice in the area.

The location is so cute and we had high expectations. However the food was mediocre at best and small portions that left us hungry at brunch. For the price of the food, it was very disappointing. The restaurant was also quite echoing and surprisingly loud with only a few tables filled. They also had loud country music was playing which very much killed the beautiful historic manor elegance.
