Food is excellent. Only dish I would say do without is their butter chicken. Otherwise, best Indian food I have ever had.

There food quality seems to be decent but service is really poor. I have picked up from here 3 times every time the food wasn't ready upon arrival and they took 20 additional minutes for making it ready. Last time I picked up they just ignored my order as they had a big order in front of me. After that I have just ignored this place. Zero for service!

We have been going here for the past 2 years and every time it was absolutely great . In fact, we even ordered catering several times for our office events. My department liked the food so much that the next couple of office events, we went with Biryani joint. Hands down the best biryani you can get in the DMV area. A colleague of mine came from San Francisco and I took them here. He was absolutely amazed by the biryani taste. Some good dishes to try are hariyali kofta, paneer majestic. In biryanis, take anything with gongura in it. You will not regret.

The lady here is vey rude .

I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the pricing practices at this establishment. It is essential for customers to carefully check their receipts before paying—and especially before tipping. On my recent visit, I tipped an additional $10, being in the holiday spirit, only to find out later that the prices I was charged were inconsistent with those advertised.

I was informed by the lady working the front that the prices change weekly, yet the prices listed both on the restaurant's website and the menu displayed on the wall were inaccurate. When I asked more questions, the employee explained that it was too much effort for them to keep the website updated due to the frequent price fluctuations. Instead, they rely on weekly updates through social media. When I asked which platforms (Facebook, Instragram, etc.), she directed me to "social media" on their website, which seemed vague and unhelpful. She then showed me a flyer on her phone but could not assist me in navigating my own device to access the same information.

To add to the confusion, the prices in-store did not align with what was listed, and when I questioned this, I was told that the discrepancy was due to it being a "Tuesday special." However, I was there on a Tuesday, and the pricing still didn't match up. The staff member, clearly caught, then proceeded to offer me "extra" sides, which consisted of a few sauces and a soda. Ultimately, I was handed $5 in cash, though I had already overpaid by $20-$30 due to these unclear and seemingly deceptive practices.

As a customer, I expect transparency and consistency when it comes to pricing, and the lack of clarity here has left me frustrated and disappointed. I urge the restaurant to review its pricing policies and communication with customers to ensure a more honest and straightforward experience moving forward.

It’s a shame because some of the food is good, but I can’t keep supporting a business that operates this way.

We love Biryani Joint!

So much so, in fact, that we had them cater our wedding--in another state. My husband is Indian and I am white and we wanted to give our wedding guests a taste of both cultures. The food was a hit! Everyone loved it and they still talk about it often.

We had been eating at and getting takeout from the restaurant for a while and always enjoy the food. When it came to the wedding, they provided an ample tasting menu for us and worked with us above and beyond through the process. Including:
- They catered out-of-state, driving the food 2.5 hours to the wedding venue.
- They worked with us to know how much to order for our guest list.
- They worked around a list of dietary restrictions to accommodate our guests including a separate table of similar but entirely vegan dishes for our vegan guests.
- They arrived on time, set up and cleaned up with no issues or complaints.
- Pricing was better than anyone else we looked into.

Just this week, we took my in-laws there for a Thursday breakfast buffet (for dinner) and they loved it. Plus, it was $12.99 for all you can eat.

The owners are also super sweet and kind.

No place is perfect but it's five stars from us! Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They worked so well with us to accommodate a list of dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free, sesame free, vegan) for our wedding. They made it feel like it was no issue to ensure everyone would have a meal that they could enjoy.

The variety offered was impressive, with their signature biryanis stealing the show. The rich spices, tender meat, and fragrant rice combined to create a dish that was nothing short of spectacular. Their tiffins and appetizers were equally delicious, showcasing a mastery of South Indian cuisine.

Worst food ever, appetizers and food cooked in fish oil and every item we ordered almost is not cooked properly. Overall a very bad experience. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT.
