My wife and I saw Cuba De Ayer Restaurant on a Facebook real and decided to try it. We went there for dinner with no reservations and was able to get seated. The food was amazing and our server Jennifer was very helpful and friendly. We definitely will be back with friends.

First, if you haven't been here, you must go, this restaurant is a gem, not only for their food and atmosphere, but staff are so kind♡.
My husband and I have seen the Facebook reel for this restaurant, so one Saturday afternoon we decided to try them, and we are so glad we did.
We enjoyed the Empanada trio...Chicken and Beef were amazing! We also enjoyed the Cameron's al Ajillo and the Rabo Encendido, both were excellent. Dessert we opted for the rum cake...light and nicely balanced with the rum sauce.
Our hostess, Jennifer, was excellent. Jennifer was very helpful with helping us decide which dish to choose and very friendly. We loved sharing a couple stories with her and hearing her story as well. So happy we chose Cuba De Ayer Restaurant tonight, we will definitely be back.

Solid food. Exceptional value. Atmosphere is almost festive. Just the authentic Tostones and red beans are reason enough to go. Beef , Pork and seafood dishes all score! Delicious Sangria to wash it all down is highly recommended. Finish with perfect flan, and leave satisfied!
The food was excellent, I had the traditional Rabo Encendido in its delicious sauce, the meat was sooooo tender you can eat most of it with a fork, but then of course you have to use your fingers to pick up the bones so you can eat all the meat around it. My husband had the Fricasé de Pollo with potatoes white wine herbs and green olives, one of his favorite Entrees. Excellent Service too, Zenda
We had a yearning for roasted pork and ordered the pernil and lechón entrees after having croquetas de jamón and mojitos for starts. The Cuban rum cake was a great way to end out Christmas dinner.
Our experience at Cuba was fantastic. I had not been there in a while so I wasn't sure what to expect. But our service was fantastic. The food was fantastic also and of course the beverages were on point.
The food is great and never disappoints. I had the pernil with maduros, white rice and black beans. I also had a mojito and a classic margarita. The table also had appetizers of camarones al ajillo and chicken and cheese empanadas. We also had cafe con leche. The ambient was quiet for a Saturday. The service was adequate but towards the end felt rushed off. Overall a great experience. I will definitely come back.
This was my second time and my wife's first time eating at this local Cuban eatery. It was a busy Friday night. We shared an assortment of empanadas as our appetizer. Our beef and pork entrees were tasty and portions were generous. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back again.

Cuba de Ayer was straight fire 🔥! The food hit just right, the vibe was smooth, and the service was on point from start to finish. Definitely one of them spots you pull up to again and again. This was my 4th time and first time for friends and they said they will definitely be back!
Everything was fantastic as usual. I am Cuban and eating here is like eating at my motherEverything was fantastic as usual. I am Cuban and eating here is like eating at my mothers house. Could not ask for a better Cuban meal!'s house. Could not ask for a better Cuban meal!
We drove up to Maryland from Virginia to try out this Cuban restaurant. The scenery and the music was nice. The food on the other hand was not so great. It was eatable. We do not plan on going back. The mariquitas didn’t come with mojo it came with an avacado salsa . The croquettes were good we have had better. The white rice was salty the black beans had too much comino my pernil had a weird taste to it. My home made pernil is way better. Hubby’s masas de puerco had no flavor. Mom’s arroz con pollo was dry. To top it off there was a group of people that arrived after us and they were so loud we couldn’t hear the music very well. This sums up our experience.

Four of us had a wonderful experience at Cuba de Ayer. Two Cuban entrees - one pork and one beef, and two salads. All commented that the food was delicious. I had the spinach salad with grilled snapper on top. The salad was nicely proportioned with fresh, crisp spinach and peppers, along with avocado. The snapper was grilled to perfection.
Server was excellent.
