Food and smoothies are good. Staff is so so. 1 guy seems to like his job the other seems like he has a gun to his head to be there. Kudos to the dude keeping that place a float. Smiling and doing the job well. Other guy should take some notes.Smelled like cleaner which, I'd rather it smell like someone is cleaning the place than the alternative. Smell was strong

This experience was terrible. I live closest to the Laurel location, but I didn't like their location for a couple of reasons, but Burtonsville takes the cake for WORST Tropical Smoothie experience. I've been to multiple locations in the DMV. I gave 2-stars and not 1 because the smoothie was delicious and Flatbread was very good. I first walked in to use the restroom. One restroom was out of order, and the working restroom didn't have toilet paper. I decided to do that business at Dunkin, then came back to order my smoothie & Flatbread. I said hi, how are you to the employee at the cash register on Saturday, December 9 at night. He said Nothing to me completely ignoring me. Then, I said what I wanted and scanned for the $3 off deal. The entire time he NEVER says anything to me! Further, he didn't ask me which side or bag of chips I wanted. While he was about to work on my smoothie, I said I'll take a bag of chips with the side with my Flatbread. He didn't ask which one. I said it looks like the BBQ is Lay's. I said I don't want that, I'd get the BBQ if it was Ms. Vickies. I said what are the other Ms. Vickies ones, and instead of saying what it was. He grabbed and showed me. I said I'll just take the Sun Chips. He handed the smoothie, and I barely muttered thank you, since he didn't deserve it. The guy who made and handed me my food, I enthusiastically said thank you with the cashier observing my difference in friendliness. Note my pic: The cashier who did not say a word to me, it says Server: Owner...no that Saturday night employee couldn't be the order. Also, Order name T as he didn't ask me my name since he never spoke to me. His behavior of completely not saying anything was totally unacceptable for the customer service!

Horrible experience, never again...The smoothie was watery and no flavor. Food was barely warm after coming 3 mins later of my order being completed and no flavor.

I go in to redeem my free smothie since I have over 1200 points and I get told I need to order food in order to redeem my points to get my smoothie. I have never had this issue before but the people working said it was a new rule.. This must be the only place that has that rule because no other Tropical Smoothie has that rule.

Paid almost $8 for a kids strawberry banana smoothie that was disgusting. Barely tasted banana and not sweet. It tastes like iced water and strawberry.

Horrible experience. Smoothie was not good (Peanut Paradise) and Supergreen Wrap had no Green in it! Just a burnt tortilla with chicken and a bunch of Caesar dressing.

Got off work and was looking forward to a smoothie... Apparently this location closes 15 min before close because they locked the doors even though their were still customers inside and a few wanting to place a order

Ade greets me everytime with so much happiness and positivity. They make me the best smoothies and always assure my smoothie is made how I like it. I recommend this business for anyone that enjoys fruit smoothies!

I assume it’s a new management my husband and I ordered a smoothie tonight it tasted like water it was the worst. I ask for no lettuce and it was loaded with lettuce I had to pick it off. The man that took the order was polite but the other guy acted like he did want to make our smoothie like I said above it was the worst, taste like it was watered down.Please train the employee or you’ll end up going out of business.

So apparently the store closes at 8:30 so please do not place orders past 830. I got a phone call at 8:40 telling me that they weren’t going to place my order when they close at 9 o’clock told me to cancel my order when I was in the store and was rude as hell. I will never do business with this place I spent over $20,000 last year and I am a regular customer terrible customer service, terrible management, and then the guy wants me to apologize to him because I told him that he needs to open up his doors because I place my order they are thieves steal my money
