Asahi Japanese Steak & Seafood

I’m not one to complain but The waitress was HORRIBLE!!! She didn’t bring refills. Had to get up and get our own drinks and boxes. Asked for the waiter to be sent to our table and never came till she brought our checks. 20% gratuity was added to our check which nobody that took care of us deserved and two we weren’t included in a party. The people that we knew was separated by a whole wall. Had no connection to them and never talked the whole time there. The food that was cooked in front of us was rushed, and not seasoned at all. The people around us at different tables had great chefs that cared and interacted with the people they were serving this chief didn’t say but a few words and only what he needed to say. I was very disappointed with our dinner experience tonight. The sushi the was ordered was horrible and tasted nothing like it should. TBH not sure if it was really the right sushi we ordered. Great job to the random employees that tried to help pick up the slack and helped with drinks and help us at the bar.

Weekly lunch special seated at the sushi bar was incredible! Food came out fast, service was good, and food was delicious. Can’t wait to comeback.

Food is always good, service too. Restaurant has been open for years. They keep it clean. It has lost some of it sparkle over the years but still always worth the visit.

Wow!!! 5 stars!!! First time I been to a hibachi where they weren’t skimpy on the food. This place piles your plate with food. Awesome, I’m definitely coming back!!!!

Ordered take out and the sushi was great which is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. Our meals were dry and lack flavor and seasonings. Very disappointing considering the price.

Have had 2 previously great experiences however was highly disappointed with today. Went with a party of 4. Accompanied by another family who was a regular apparently. They had a toddler with them, the cook skipped the fire tricks understandable but made no other effort to interact. The kids with me were very excited to see some of the Japanese steak tricks. Vegetable was undercooked . Hopefully it was a bad day.
