Absolutely love this place. Haven't tried everything on the menu yet but the scotch eggs and the pretzels are worth the trip every time. They have games to play while you wait and just an all around great place to get a bite and check out some games.

Like a food journey to London without the jet lag... We came for the food and it did not disappoint... Must admit the foamy pint of Guinness was icing on the cake... The British cuisine was fabulous... The Scotch eggs were such a decadent treat... The bangers and mash was awesome... My wife had the Druid's Harvest topped with grilled chicken which has a hearty blend of quinoa, sweet potato, green pepper, red onion, chick peas, sautéed and topped with crispy kale... She was in heaven... The quality was 100% top notch and the prices were very fair... The food was piping hot and freshly prepared... We can't wait to return and try the other English dishes like Shepard's pie and Fish and Chips!!!
Kid-friendliness: Kid's appeared to be in gaming heaven....

We were certainly disappointed in the food and the service. 2 meals we wanted to order were unavailable due to lack of ingredients. Appetizer came after 3 of our meals and then my meal arrived at the table after my family had nearly finished eating. Not to mention, my order was completely wrong. Nothing was good enough that we would return. $100 for family of four to have mediocre food.

After 14 years I came back to visit the area and I had the most memorable experience. The food at Bard's Bistro is very unique and delicious. The Shepherd's pie it's truly authentic and the Scotch Eggs is a must have! They have other menu and drink options that I'm sure anyone will enjoy. The owner and staff are friendly and extremely dedicated to make sure the food is amazing. Very clean and welcoming decor. The best part of all and innovative vision is that Bard's Bistro is part of High Tide Games! You get to eat or have a drink while you play a board game or while you take a break or before or after playing a board game. It's genius! Very safe atmosphere and I witnessed how they make sure to ask for ID to anyone that wants to purchase any beer or mix drink. They definitely want to keep in business providing great service and that's why I can tell they are doing it properly as it's meant to be. I definitely recommend for anyone to come and have a fun great experience. Southern Maryland truly needed a place to offer this friendly environment. I will definitely be coming back as my place of choice.

This is a great place to bring the family or your friends for lunch. I say that because I've only been here for lunch, but I've been with three different groups of people each time. While you wait for your food, you can pick up a board game at the door and play a round if you'd like -- or you could even bring your own.Their burgers are great, and other members of the party enjoyed their dishes as well. I enjoy the eggs wrapped in sausage quite a bit too.Highly recommended, and directly attached to High Tide Games.

Had lunch there today with my daughter and son. We wanted to try something new and local.I had fish and chips, they had different types of chicken sandwiches. The chicken breast was huge and delicious. I loved the fish and waffle fry's as well. We were all pleasantly surprised and happy with Our food and choice's. Will definitely go back again soon. The gentleman at the counter/register was very nice and explained items for us.A wonderful lunch.
