Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The food was cold and the meatloaf disgusting. The service could have been better. Some of the meals were mixed up. I was disappointed

Genny did a great job. Glad to see the refreshed menu and even drink options for the afternoon. Delicious country food. Handled our group of 7 well.

Food is great, decent parking, clean inside.

Service is hit or miss. It can be absolutely terrible or the best server in Maryland. If it’s not my table I notice it on other tables. Really depends on the server you get. Whether that’s being served and no utensils, no follow up from the servers just to refill drinks, or even bringing a to go box. Either it’s the constant turnaround of new hires or it’s a management issue directing people’s time correctly, who knows. It’s one of the few breakfast places in the local area and the food is always hot.

We had to fo to the restaurant to order the country boy breakfast because I couldn't select steak tips in the online app and I asked for pancakes with it and didn't receive them but I don't think I was charged. I ordered mama's pancakes and we didn't get any syrup.

Nice restaurant, food is usually a bit too heavy and greasy for breakfast but they are still good. Very family friendly, there's always kids here, its usually loud with the families but I personally like that so I like to go here with family.

Takeout orders are consistently missing condiments, especially tartar sauce for fish and insufficient amounts for more than 1pc entrées.

My friend and I come to this location regularly, about once a month, and we always enjoy it. Sometimes they are understaffed and service is slow as a result, but that's not an issue. Most of the servers we have had have been attentive and looking out for our needs, and some have been absolutely stellar. Definitely will keep coming back. We love the little store, too.

Our server was good. We waited 40 mins for a salad, mashed potatoes and green beans. It was not busy. Plenty of employees walking around. Not sure why the kitchen was so backed up. Seems to always have kitchen issues here!

We arrived early for breakfast and there were very few people in the restaurant. Our meals took an overly long time to be delivered to the table. The grits were cold and lumpy. Our server was good, but it seems like the kitchen was struggling with very few patrons in the store. The only reason we selected Cracker Barrel is because "Linda's" is not open on Monday. If you need a good restaurant option for breakfast on a Monday in Lexington Park, it's not Cracker Barrel.

Had brunch here today and as always the experience was nice. Hubs had the fried chicken and eggs and I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The star of the show was definitely his fried chicken. I could have closed my eyes, taste that chicken and would have thought I was at a soul food restaurant. A must try!

Also, I did not know CB served beer and wine. I enjoyed the peach mimosa during my meal and it was lovely.

Service was spectacular as always, and we look forward to coming back soon!

I just placed a take out order. Luckily I knew to check my bag before leaving. 3 things were missing. I called back in to advise and they said they just ran out of 2 of them. They asked if I would like a replacement. Of course, I want a replacement especially since I paid extra for them. So instead of letting me know that there were missing items, they were just going to let me find out when I got home???? Told they would be out in 5 minutes with missing food. Waited 14 minutes for the food to come out. So we're 20 minutes passed my original pick up time. All the while, the other food has been getting cold while we wait. The kicker was when the association said to "have a better night". I'm only have a bad experience because of this store/encounter. Terrible experience today.

The food we ordered was served at the same time making the table crowded. We ordered decaf and ice water. The ice water was warmer than the coffee. My wife ordered the fried chicken breast, but the breast must have been a pigeon based on size. My wife commented that the food did not look like an $11 meal. I would not return to

Absolutely terrible experience the last few times I have been here and today was no exception breakfast is normally busy to that extent I understand but one cup of coffee in 35 minutes I can clear a half a craft no check ups in between to pad the experience food came out ice cold at 45 minutes soggy pancakes no syrup busted eggs and I have a 3 year old to keep entertained in the mix one fork no other utensils just a positively poor showing for this establishment it actually used to be good but I guess the Mary Jane hits different for these folks do not recommend 👎🏻
