Great place for meeting friends or a business lunch. Food is always good and, though they rarely change the menu much, there are enough options that it never gets old. Four varieties of coffee all the time. That's all I needed to hear to love it.
Chicken focaccia, fokachia, fuggedaboutit, chicken sandwich with great veggies was a wonderful lunch.
I didn't give a raring for service as they don't wait on tables; place your order, pick it up at the counter and find a table. Always plenty of seating available. Always plenty of parking available as they are in a shopping plaza.

Panera bread is nothing like it used to be. When they sold to the Germans they went away with making fresh bread

Food is always great while service is lacking. Inconsistency is also a problem when it comes to portions.

Edit: I refuse to eat at this place as it now feels like waffle house. People sleep in booths with their belongings spread out in the dining room. This has made me and my party uncomfortable.

Went to Panera in California, MD this morning to have breakfast. As usual, the food prep staff were efficient/speedy, but the front counter folks were a joke and behaved as if they couldn't care less if we were there. The food was quite good, but the coffee was monstrous. It was weak and off-flavor, meaning it tasted watered down.

When to Panera this afternoon, ordered an Asian sesame chicken salad. I ask the you lady to add mandarin oranges to my salad, that was the only modification. I get home ready to eat the salad and not only was the No Mandarins but NO CHICKEN. How do you forget the chicken that comes with the salad? Paid extra for Mandarins and they were know where to be found. I may be done with Panera because the service is nonexistent.

Place is in dire need of a makeover. Place looks worn and dirty

Nick was the manager on duty at the time, and while he didn’t have to, he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. - Lorenzo

I give these people a lot of business but some of them show a dislike towards me. One wouldn't even take a tip from me. I hope they are not bullying me because of a certain person (so tired of being bullied to death over that person). Other customers seem to deliberately try to be nice and open the door for me but it's no consolation for the 23 years and counting I've suffered over this person. I'm in terrible pain all the time because of the ordeal which I'm sure there are people who are aware of it.
