The salsa tasted like tomato paste was dumped into the dip dish. Why does ranch come out with the chips? I’m visiting from Arizona and this is not Mexican food. Server staff was nice.

Amazing time dining here. Great chips and salsa and the food was delicious and fresh. The street tacos, carne asada, and fajitas were all excellent. All of the staff were extremely kind and personal. They all went above and beyond to celebrate one of our party members birthday and made the dining experience very special. Really wonderful people who were so funny and caring. Great restaurant which I highly recommend!

They are the ONLY restaurant in Southern Maryland with the perfect white sauce. Not the queso, the white sauce. Our wait staff are always attentive with us when we go, abd the food is always hot and good. But i would and have bought that white sauce often to take home.

I have tried ordering from this restaurant several times through Door Dash and a few times I received my order and others the order had to be cancelled because the employees claim they don’t do Door Dash. I called them today about an order and the lady barely spoke English and I asked to speak to a manager to be told that there was no manager there that seems to be an issue all of the time there. This is the worst Mexican restaurant in the area Plaza Azteca and the one on 235 south going towards Point Lookout are much better. I will never do any business here again.

I've eaten here several times before but tonight the ground beef tasted really off. It was also too spicy, too salty and tasted burnt. I have a family of 6 and none of us enjoyed the ground beef. The red and white salsa is way spicier than usual as well. I usually really enjoy the food here but it's off this time.

Plaza Tolteca Monday Night Fajita special for $9.99 is the best deal we have found, hands down, in Southern Maryland. The quality is amazing. The quantity gives us enough for lunch the next day. On Mondays, the two of us can walk out full, with leftovers, and for under $30.
Thursday is $9 burritos or if you want a specialty burrito they’ll discount it for you.
Try the made on demand guacamole. It’s worth every dime!!!

Supposedly new owners, new look, etc…. Its actually gone downhill from what it was before. Boring, dead inside, no music, dated interior, service was slow, hard to communicate, food was boring, bland, tasted old. I sure hope I don’t shit myself later on. Never again!

The maggot flavored lettuce was rotting and tasted so repulsive that I get nauseous just thinking about it. It took me a while to figure out what the strange flavor in my taco was, by the time I figured it out, we had eaten most of the lettuce. The vegetables with the fried meat also tasted like they were slimy and rotten before they were cooked. I was on a date so I didn’t want to complain too much. I politely informed the waiter that the food tasted rotten and I could not continue eating it. She went and informed someone in the back and then said nothing more to me. I just paid my bill and quietly left. I will never return to this restaurant. Yuck! I’m not a picky eater at all, I’m an extremely easy customer. I only draw the line with maggots. If the food has a distinctive maggot taste, I will not eat it. I’ve never tasted maggots prior to this experience, but I’m sure they must taste similar to the flavors I was exposed to. … it was so disgusting, words can not describe the regret I feel about having eaten at this restaurant. And to make matters worse, I took my date, how embarrassing for me! She ate the same maggot flavors I did. It completely ruined our evening. Now we just nervously sit and try to forget the experience.

Don’t come here within 10 min of trying to eat the nasty food they gave me I was in the bathroom I puked about 5 times and my check was about 80$ for food I literally didn’t and couldn’t eat really unhappy about the situation this place is trash

My boyfriend and I went for a date night, his food was fine. But when it came to mine it wasn’t. I got enchiladas supremes, ate the bean, and chicken no problem, I get to the beef there was a bone in it ( only thing the waiter had to say was “it’s fresh”, but from all the beef things I’ve gotten before never once was there a bone), and the cheese one was hard in the middle. Very disappointing from what they used to be. Sad to see them slip.
