Burgers@ Apollo

I came in for a burger and fries. I was asked if I liked seafood, and if I wanted to sample a shrimp crab cake slider. It was delicious . All the food was seasoned well, and a good portion. The atmosphere was good, the music was top tier, service was friendly. I would recommend and will definitely visit again. Thank you 😊😊

The service and food is always great. Today was my first time there during happy hour and poetry reading was starting as I walked out of the door.

Went on a weekday after the lunch rush was over. Waited 35 minutes for a turkey burger with turkey bacon. Kitchen and wait staff argued incessantly during my time there and my order and the orders of other customers were all wrong. It’ll be a while before I go back, if ever.

This was one of the few black owned businesses we could go to that offered quality service and great food in the PG area. Until recently when I ordered the chicken strips that looked like something they pulled out of the frozen Tysons bag. The fries were also soggy as someone else has mentioned. Please if the business owners are reading this and interested in honest feedback, please go back to the original recipes. Idk if the cooks have changed or what. They also didn’t have any of the usual sauces. 🥲 #misstheoriginal

Just got my food from there soooo blown they changed the chicken sandwich to a baby size sandwich and the burger tasted like it was made with no effort... They always change something when it's good...👎🏽👎🏽

I ordered online and added the side and drink for $5 they gave me a can soda. It was suppose to be a fountain drink. I have can sodas at home. Without no explanation that’s what they handed over and in that moment I decided I wasn’t spending extra money on a milkshake here I’ll go get a frosty from Wendy’s. Lol.

The price of the burgers do not reflect the quality. The burgers are mediocre and lack flavor and presentation.

UPDATE! ***20 days later *** owner of Apollo burger advised they initiated the process to refund, but still no refund. Bank advised they have not received a refund. Horrible service. I ordered a burger and waited over 40 minutes! NOTE: the restaurant was empty. I mentioned the long wait to one of the ladies who worked there, and she said it was due to shift change, and the lady before her forgot to communicate my order to her. I asked for a refund. The lady said she could not refund the money immediately because I did not pay cash. She stated she would call her admin to initiate the refund and that it would take 3 days to process. The lady refused to call the admin while I was present and promised she would later. I never received my burger or my refund. This restaurant stole my money, lost my service, and gained a 1-star review. I do not support this business.

Ordered a kids meal burger which comes with fries. Got home and no fries. Called they sorry! No im not coming back over there for fries. $9.01 for hamburger. Never again.

I stopped by for lunch and I was shocked it was empty. I ordered the Jive Turkey burger with fries. All ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were good.

Food was good; fried food was a little salty. Had the onions rings that were good bit a little less salt would have made them perfect
