OMG as soon as I wheeled myself into the place Cashier Jeannette greeted me with open arms she went over the menu with me she also recommended me what to get the atmosphere was excellent pictures on the wall of DC GoGo and DC dignitaries the place was in immaculate shape very clean and also the bathroom the meal was awesome I ordered the Original Burger and it was cooked to perfection and also delicious it was an old school Cheeseburger I recommend this spot to all of my friends and it’s Black owned they are very professional I will definitely be back great job

Mr.Chimetime put me on but this appears to be a staple in the DMV and for good reason. They pay homage to the greats. The decor and atmosphere shows this. I arrived at hoping and the staff was great even trying to take opens at opening and make sure everything is up ao was a respectable lady boss about it. Taking the fam to e joy live music next time.

Ordered a fish sandwich and they gave me a giant bun with 2 tenders that cover a little more than half of the bun. Won't order that again.
I have been a regular patron of this establishment and have consistently enjoyed the remarkable cuisine it offers. The culinary expertise is commendable; however, my recent experiences have been marred by inconsistencies in customer service.Despite being a business owner, there have been instances where I felt the service quality was contingent upon factors such as the time of day or the staff on duty. On a particular visit when not dressed in my usual business attire, I sensed a disparity in treatment. Notably, other patrons received their orders ahead of me, even though I had placed mine earlier.While the food consistently impresses, there have been occasional lapses in order accuracy, depending on the cooks' shifts. I believe that regardless of appearance or status, all patrons should receive equitable service. I appreciate the culinary excellence but would like to see improvements in ensuring a consistent and welcoming experience for all customers.

Stopped here on a road trip for burgers and it did not disappoint! The fries were perfectly cooked (not flimsy at all) and the burgers were great. I'd say more upgraded diner style burgers in terms of flavor and cook. The prices were also fairly cheap for the food and quality.
