El Papi Real Street Tacos is a little off the beaten path. The food is for an acquired soft taco taste. The food was dry and not as flavorful as other taco tasting around the US. It did not seem like a Central American Taco experience but more like a US fusion.Parking: The parking lot is small but open to allow a clear view of the surroundings. It appeared to have between 20-25 spots.

Tried for the 1st time and I wouldn't returned. Got shrimp tacos. The cook was heavy handed on the seasoning. They taste like they poured the whole bottle of salt on them plus they leave the tails on the shrimp. WEIRD. Who wants to bit into their food and feel a shell. Now the crab taco was decent but nothing to go back for. When I had a question they act like they didn't want to talk. How do you want people to support your business and staff is not friendly. Oh please note this is a a la carte restaurant.You pay for everything. 1/10 for me

Stopped here on a trip back down to southern MD and got the carnitas tacos. They were good enough we went back for a second order. The place is a lot nicer on the inside than the outside appears.

Tacos were absolutely delicious!! The lengua was tender and flavorful. This place is super authentic and the only spot in the DMV that competes with tacos I've eaten in Mexico. 10/10 definitely recommend!!!I even love how you place the order. There is a convenient kiosk and you just pick up at the counter. Awesome!!

It's annoying that the reviews are so sensitive. The food is good and anyone who claims it is bland or unpalatable has never eaten legit Mexican street tacos. These are good tacos. Stop complaining about the service. grow

I definitely enjoyed my first visit here. The food was good, I ordered the Fish & Shrimp tacos. Was very fresh, and the portion sizes were great. The service was top tier! I would definitely go back based on the service alone. The ambiance gives family friendly quick on the go stop. They have sit down dinning, but not a casual style. They have a nice sized menu with plenty of choices to choice from and again the food is fresh and made to order.

Made to order real tacos. The tacos are ridiculously good. From flavor to portions is amazing. They stay true to the you're getting what you're getting no substitutions. The chicken and asada mix is the way to go.

Legit and delicious. Their red-queso BIRRIA tacos will definitely hit the spot and prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly in my experience.
