The food was so good! I ordered the crab cake sandwich (special for the day), with Mac & cheese and potato salad. I also ordered the sweet potato pie egg rolls with henny cream sauce. First, the crab cake sandwich was huge and meaty. It was very good and I’d go back off that alone. Everything else was very good as well. The sweet potatoes pie egg rolls were amazing and I don’t even generally like sweet potatoes, but it sounded so good and it didn’t disappoint. I also met Derrick and Shae while I was there and they were very kind. I’ll be back! I wish I had photos, but I ate the food too fast.

This was my first and last time going to this restaurant...As you can see in the photos, that is not no Macaroni and Cheese at all. The greens are very salty, high blood pressure waiting to happen....The second meal was supposed to be cauliflower wings, baked beans, and potato salad...As you can see I was served sweet potato casserole and really regular cauliflower, I can make at home and sugar diabetes waiting to happen with the casserole....The food was no hot at all, while we sat and waited...

Y’all, when I say everything is perfect everything is perfect 👌🏾 let me start by saying customer service is wonderful when I first walked in, I was greeted by a young man, he took my order and read me back everything I told him I wanted! I had got the two whitening dinner meal for me and my brother. I got the Fried whitening with double Mac and my brother got the bake beans with the casserole. When I say the fish was so delicious it was well seasoned and the Mac was delicious as well very cheesy it don’t taste like the Mac & cheese out of the box there somebody of these restaurants keep giving us.

Hi! If you haven’t ordered or visited this local carry out place/restaurant , OMG! You are missing out. I have my food order via Uber Eats Carrier. I got me and my son their special for today. When I tell you they cook with their souls and the food speaks to me!!!! This Alfredo with Shrimps and Crub Cake is the bomb! The potato salad: yeah that’s you would crave for after that long day! The beans and the sides, I am the regular fan now! The quality, presentation and just freshness I love! Great customer service and kind and gracious!

Let me start by saying I’m 53. The collard greens have no flavor! They taste like they wasn’t cleaned! Also when you clean and cook greens you take all the roots out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Start your broth!!! Turkey no water turkey broth thinly sliced onions so they can marinate!!! Brown vinegar! Let the broth cook for 30 min. Then let your very clean with lemon and lime juice no roots cook down flavor would be bussin. Also the texture of smoke wings are horrible!!!!! They taste like whale skin!!!! Clean your chicken. Boil your wings for 15min in chicken broth onions hot sauce green peppers. Then throw them in your bowl of sauce of your choice…… then , then, I said then put them in the oven on 375 uncovered for 15min fye🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Then with your yams 🍠 add pineapple! It’s sweet fruit no need for a bunch of brown sugar callin it casserole! Now the pineapple lemonade was fye🔥🔥🔥🔥 I mean that joint go ugly!!!! They need bigger cups because I’m a whole grown man!!! So I need a whole gallon of that! Now the main thing is this is a black owned establishment! It looks abandoned from outside! It looks like they leasing the building! Idk what is going on. Not at all inviting! It’s like they are purposely not trying to invite you in from the looks. I tried to pay with cash but he asked if I could Apple Pay. It was weird but weird

On my way home, I decided to grab a bite from Fourk’d, and here's the lowdown. First off, the place is spotless and greets you with the heavenly aroma of good food the moment you walk in. The space is intimate—tiny but charming.
Now, let’s talk food. The Mac and Cheese was ooey-gooey and super cheesy. While I typically lean toward baked Mac, this version definitely hit the spot. The sweet potato casserole? Absolute perfection! Honestly, it was to die for.
The whiting fish was tasty—well-seasoned and crispy. My only gripe is the thinness of the pieces; a bit thicker would have made it even better, but it was still delicious. However, the fried chicken was a different story. Unfortunately, it tasted like it was fried in fish oil, which isn’t my thing. I chose the honey lemon pepper sauce to go with it, and that was where it really fell flat. They served a glob of thick honey with some lemon pepper seasoning mixed in, which didn’t do it for me. Maybe if the chicken had been cooked in the lemon pepper, it would have fared better.
All in all, despite the missteps, I enjoyed my meal and plan to return to explore more of their menu.
