It was on November 14 after the government shut down my car declined and the father was very nasty and I gave him another card and he said you know money you know money. Their food is delicious, but they’re very disrespectful especially towards Black people I months ago paid for a guy that is homeless outside with baggy clothes. I paid for the food and they told me he was not allowed to come in there to pick up his food which I paid for the very disrespectful towards Black people which is 90% of their clientele. The food is great yes but stand for something or fall for everything.🤏🏾

I usually order the Singapore noodles and fried wings and they don’t disappoint. So recently I decided to switch it up to see what else is good. Since it’s named “Johnny’s Sub Shop” I decided to try a steak and cheese. I assumed that since “sub shop” is in the name that their subs would be good. But sadly I was wrong. Now I ordered a whole steak and cheese with provolone, green peppers, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, light mayo, and hot pepper relish. When I got it, the bread was soggy, the meat didn’t have any seasoning and it was barely any hot pepper relish. It also didn’t give that good cheese to meat ratio where you can bite into it and the cheese would pull. I will say that the sandwich had a good amount of meat, but that’s about it. I guess I will just stick to getting the Singapore noodles and wings.

This is the only place I eat steak and cheese from! It’s very good and delicious! I also recommend the orange chicken.

Whenever I visit DC, I always stop by Johnny's Sub Shop to have my Steak and Cheese Sub, OMG the best sub sandwich in the state!!!!!!

1st and last time there! I bought a hoagie sandwich. When I ate it, I thought it had a strange taste, but didn’t think anything of it. I kept feeling light headed the next day, but I had done a lot of walking and hadn’t yet eaten. When I went to eat the other half , that's when I noticed the bologna was rotten! This place should be closed down!
