Kid-friendliness: The waitress was so kind, patient, and joyful around my family and kids. It made the experience so much more enjoyable and pleasant.

I’m just leaving this restaurant and had to leave a review. This is a lovely location. I came in on a Saturday late morning and was able to sit at the bar. I already had an idea of what I wanted so I was able to order quickly. I ordered the lavender lemonade and the shrimp and grits without turkey sausage. My drink was beautiful. That’s important to me because I don’t drink but I still want a beautiful mocktail. The shrimp and grits came out within 10 minutes of me ordering and it was piping hot and very well seasoned. The staff was very attentive to me. I think the head chef may have even come out to ask how the food was. I left just as the DJ was starting so I will definitely be back.

Supporting black owned businesses is one thing but supporting a professional with good food is another. This is a great spot to eat but there is more. When I got home I realized I left my entire computer bag with my MacBook. I panicked and called. They knew exactly who I was and they had already put it in the office for me. I was more than grateful. Definitely a great business to patronize.

It's very nice, Loved all the paintings that were hung, Sunday is really busy, but the music was great. The 1 bathroom for each gender was crazy to me. They need more bathrooms.

It was my friend's and my first time dining at this restaurant and we were so happy that it was recommended to us. Everything looks absolutely amazing by the description and all the plates that came out while we had a short wait. We had the Salmon hash, the biscuit appetizer with sweet potato butter and peach preserves, the Wharf Shrimp and the Berry French Toast. We would recommend all the dishes!!!

Came here to our disappointment they were closed last night. I have a problem with the staff that was there . We walked in the two young men stacking up chairs stated the restaurant was closed no problem we looked shocked but never spoke . It was my sister’s birthday we didn’t know the close at 6 pm no problem however as we turned to leave the young man with the glasses was very rude. He stated you can go look at the door downstairs stairs it says closed at 6 PM .You must have missed read the door go look . We proceed to leave that was poor customer service and very rude . It would have been our first time if we knew the hours but we missed the time due to other circumstances. I will not be returning for that reason alone.
This was my first time and the food lived up to the hype. I sincerely enjoyed my food. My sister shared her food and it was good too. The service was terrible. I can't sugarcoat it. It was so bad, I became anxious. Lastly, we came during brunch and they had a DJ. The music was good but it was so loud, we couldn't hear each other at the table. We sat in the back of the restaurant! If I go back to this location, I'll do a to-go order.

I had an amazing experience at Milk and Honey! The service was outstanding, and the food was even better. I enjoyed the Berry French Toast—it was delicious and bursting with flavor. The Cheesy Hash was also incredible, with the perfect amount of cheese and seasoning. Thank you for such a wonderful meal, I’ll definitely be back!
