Let me start off by saying that this WAS one of my favorite spots to eat some good southern food and have a nice cocktail or mixed drink to go with it.Let’s start with the service during my last visit (4/5/2024), walked in about 5:45 pm and it wasn’t crowded at all. We were seated right away but waited a good 10 minutes to have our drink orders taken. We actually considered just leaving it took so long. Now the NEW menu, lawd, they whittled the menu down. I’m talking food AND drinks. They increased the prices—$32 for a Cobb salad, say what!?!?! And, the menu selection was very limited and provided very few options for children. The biscuits and wings were good, the Salmon BLT was okay, the pork chops were thin and small and not worth the price AND you only got one side for $30. It was a sad looking pork chop plate. It tasted good but you are going to be leaving hungry. They no longer have the adult koolaid (my favorite) but tried a unicorn instead. It was good but wished they hadn’t take the adult koolaid off the menu. Now, the scene was still rocking. The music, paintings, and setup was as it has been and what I’ve come to expect and enjoy. But with the new menu and the increased prices, needless to say, I won’t be going back. I’m so sad because I loved this spot and would drive an hour and 45 minutes to eat there. Maybe they’ll switch back to the old menu or expand the choices down the road.

I love M&H. I come to the Telfair location because it’s right behind my building.I was disappointed when I came today and found out the menu changed. They took off all the stuff I come for. Removing the Buffalo Cauliflower was what sent me home. The new menu is honestly bland and doesn’t have much to choose from.I highly recommend that they bring some of the key items back at least. While I was there 2 days their customers left because the items they usually get were taken off the menu.

I have been to this location so many times and had a wonderful time. My most recent experience has soured my perspective of Milk & Honey. Our server Jayda seemed sweet... whenever she was actually around. The service was extremely slow and she kept doing a disappearing act. It took forever to even place an order after receiving our drinks because she immediately walked off and disappeared into thin air. I'm sorry but the lack of attentiveness was so apparent that I really became agitated. The food arrived lukewarm and the grits were disgusting. This was so disappointing because I had family visiting and they really wanted to try this place based on the strength of my prior experiences. It was difficult to get refills of empty glasses, the check, or anything else for that matter. The increased price of the food and drinks is not worth it at all considering the lack of service received.

If you’ve eaten at The Real Milk & Honey in ATL, then this menu will probably be a letdown for you. Also, I just couldn’t get comfortable in there. Waiters kinda just deal with you to get you out the way. Seats and table was cheaply made and uncomfortable and there wasn’t much to the liquor choices honestly. I heard the brunch was better so I may try that. The tacos were ok. Not worth how much I paid though. You pay so much for so little around here.

The food was good. Seasoned well. The only thing that was disturbing was the music. It was entirely too loud we couldn't have a conversation, and it was hard to hear the server.Kid-friendliness: It's too loud and not a lot of food choices for children.

Me and my friend went for the first time.I like the atmosphere and the culture. Our servicer was good. However, the chicken waffle wasn't the waffle, which is one of the best I had, but the chicken was old and hard and was fried in an old oil, not pleasant to the mouth . My friend had the shrimp grit, and it was good. I would go back and taste different dishes. I'm not sure if it is black Owned. If it is, the owner did an amazing job with the place. The manager even goes around asking if the temperature is comfortable. We always get complaints about black owned for bad customer service and clean spot. This one is an exception. I hope they keep up

First thing to deserve praise is the customer service. Makayla was professional and attentive.Atmosphere was cool for the most part. If you are by the windows and it’s sunny - you finna be sweating.Food wise I ordered:Fish & grits: 7/10 extremely flavorful, the fish and tomato were fried beautifully. My drawback is the bones inside part of the fish. Caught me way off guard.2 fried eggs: best fried eggs I’ve had at a restaurantAdult koolaid: sweet and strong as hellOverall 8/10 and would return
