I ordered takeout from Biryani and Bakery in Catonsville after seeing a lot of good reviews and wanted to give it a try. I got the Kaju Kodi Vepudu, Chicken Mandi, Chicken Puff, and Chicken Tikka Roll. The Chicken Mandi had good quantity, but it was a bit too salty for my taste and the mayo smelled a little stale. The Chicken Puff was okay. The Kaju Kodi Vepudu was good, and the Chicken Tikka Roll was the best item I tried. The flavors, veggies, sauce, and chicken were all great together. I just wish the wrap was a bit thinner, maybe like a rumali roti. Overall, it was a decent takeout experience with some hits and misses.

I ordered the chilli babycorn from their weekend specials. The food quality and quantity went down. The box itself is very small and they filled it to only 50% for the price of 12.99+tax. Not at all worth it.

Please add a little less CARDAMOM in the goat dum biryani; all it tastes is cardamom no other spice flavor. Overall it’s not bad. Thank you!

I don’t know how they got 4.6 ratings.
I have tried Biryani both chicken and Mutton doesn’t look or taste like authentic DUM biryani.
Too much expensive and quantity is very less.
Not worth it don’t waste your money.

If you’re looking for typical South Indian style biryani, this is your place. The prices are very reasonable and the taste is beyond amazing. They have many options in veg and non-veg appetizers and entrees. Their desserts are also amazing.

We recently celebrated my son’s graduation dinner at ISB, and it was an amazing experience thanks to brother Imran at Biryani & Bakers based in Catonsville, MD. The food was plentiful and delicious, with a wonderful variety of Indian and Pakistani dishes that all our guests truly enjoyed. The buffet tables and dessert bar were beautifully set up, and everything was handled with such care and responsibility. It was a memorable evening, and I highly recommend them for any special occasion!

Located inside Lotte market. Good menu. Friendly staff. Food portions and taste is super. Eggplant curry and Puffs are delicious. Seating is across from refrigerated section in market so it’s chilly.

We ordered catering from Biryani and Bakers and had an excellent experience. The food was outstanding — flavorful, fresh, and with generous portions. What impressed us most was the delivery: they managed to deliver nearly 3 hours away in a very clean and professional manner, and everything arrived perfectly. The taste was simply amazing, and both quality and quantity exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!

Tried chicken fried piece mandi, hyderabadi chicken biryani & vijayawada chicken biryani, vijayawada chicken biryani is delicious, mandi was bad, & Hyderabadi chicken biryani was average.
Tried irani chai, tasted good.

I’ve been ordering chicken dum biryani from this place since the time it opened. Initially, the portion size was good and the packaging was decent. But now, the quantity has become very less and the box quality is also poor feels like it can break anytime.

Taste-wise, the biryani is still awesome no complaints there. But for the price they are charging (almost like a proper restaurant), the quantity and packaging don’t match up. Hope they bring back the earlier quality and value.

I recently visited Biryani and Bakers and I was thoroughly impressed by both the variety and quality of the food. The staff is very warm and welcoming. This restaurant offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes. However, what truly stole the show was their chicken biryani – it was absolutely delicious! Guthivankaya biryani is also amazing! The portions were generous, and the accompanying raita complemented the dish perfectly.
I must say this is the best biryani I ever had in Maryland!!
