“First time visiting here. Halal BBQ is a relatively new concept around here and wanted them ncheck it out. Ordered two Halal Beef Brisket sandwich combos with french fries and a canned soft drink each, a Halal Bacon and Brisket combo sandwich with curly fries and can of coke, Mozzarella cheese sticks combo and a chicken tender serving. Overall the family enjoyed the food, my beef bacon was over cooked and the strips of beef brisket were thin slivers of meat with a barely discernable flavor coated with copious amounts of BBQ sauce. First impression was so-so, for me. Seating was barely adequate with people standing over your head to order. It was night time and rainy sonif they have outdoor seating, it was not part of the equation tonight. I will definitely visit again as I like to support small upcoming businesses and I like the concept of contemporary American food for those who prefer to eat Halal.“

“I searched for a good halal pizza place for a long time so when this place came up in my search I had to try it. I wanted a beef pepperoni pizza and got so much more. Talking about #flavortown ! “I had to place a last minute order at your location on 3/31/22. I am a Show Runner for major productions in Maryland. The national artist asked for 35 burgers. 6 different types. It was 15 minutes before closing. Your team did not flinch. The manager(I regret I forgot his name) was on point. He helped me make sense of my order. The food came out hot and fresh. They were one of the best restaurant teams I have ever encountered in my 35 years of working productions in the Maryland, DC and Virginia areas. What was so great about them? Many times restaurants will not take large orders no matter how early we give them a heads up. Many restaurants have closing times posted but really they do not want take orders an hour before they close. We pay cash for all orders. The push back we receive from restaurants when we place orders amazes me. In this day and time when people are making hard choices on how to spend their money your team choose professionalism. “This store is like the other five guys. They all seem to have good staff, good food, and free peanuts. Their shakes are very good, and they use real bananas for the banana shake, unlike most of their fast food competitors. I tried it with coffee this time, but it seemed to come with extra sugar, so I probably won't do that again. But I will get a Banana shake again.“

“I was supposed to be served by some girl named Jaylen, she walked up to the table mid sentence while I was speaking with my husband, caught an attitude in half a second because we didn’t notice her at first, sucked her teeth and walked away while we were saying sorry we didn’t see you. Then we waited and waited, she never came back. She only walked past us a couple times still with an attitude before Joey came and let us know he would be taking over. Joey was great and handled everything quickly. Jaylen proceeded to stand at the bar with 2 customers rolling her eyes and pointing over to our table multiple times the entire time we ate. Very weird interaction, we have never been here to this location and never seen this woman prior. If I weren’t there with 2 year old and 10 month old I probably would’ve addressed this with a manager but her unprofessional attitude tells me she would’ve made a scene or did something with our food.
