Great service, food and the servers are just beyond helpful, kind and respectful of food questions. We ordered both breakfast and a lunch plate and all of the food came out timely. When we had a question about the eggs not being quite to the order, they quickly remade the eggs without any question. We will be back to try new dishes.

I've dined at Doozys multiple times and have always enjoyed the food and service. Today, the food was great, however, the service was rough around the edges. It was the hostess who seemed as if she would have rather been somewhere else. Our waitress was great, but again, the hostess, who welcomed us in, was not welcoming and gave snappy responses when asked questions. The entire visit started on the wrong foot due to her attitude. There was another hostess who started her shift while we were there and she was beyond pleasant. Would I come again, yes...however, the lady who welcomed us in, with a snippy attitude, needs to check her attitude at the door BEFORE starting her shift.

This place is a hidden gem! The food is so flavorful and made with heart and soul. The burgers are so juicy and delicious. Even the basic girl chicken wrap is amazing.
After having such great meals here, I decided to rent out the place for our company holiday party and everyone was so impressed with the high quality food. They make everything so easy to host a party and are so accommodating and affordable.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Doozy's has quickly become my go-to spot for breakfast in Catonsville. They offer a wide variety of menu options, so there is always something that hits the spot. The staff is always friendly and the service is consistently prompt. A great family owned business in C-ville that is definitely worth supporting!
Super tasty, gluten free bread available, got the Lox Benedict and it was super tasty, the smashed potatoes were great as well. Service was fast and the diner itself was cozy :)

Disappointed and Won’t Be Returning
Unfortunately, when my spouse and I walked into the restaurant, we weren’t greeted at all. The interior is small, and the host and receptionist were standing just a few feet from the front door between the kitchen and greeting station. Both were focused on their phones and digging through their purses for lip gloss.
We waited about three minutes before they finally looked up, made eye contact with us… and then walked further into the kitchen without saying a single word. No “We’ll be right with you,” no acknowledgment, no information about a wait time — nothing. Needless to say, we won’t be back, and we’ll be sharing this experience with friends and family.

For the second time in a row, I was served lukewarm (and weak) coffee and lukewarm food. Plus, we were seated in the very cramped back room, shoulder to shoulder with the people on either side of us. Cute place and friendly people, but after two bad experiences, I won’t be back. There are better alternatives elsewhere.

Doozy Diner is a cute and quaint spot nestled in Catonsville, offering a cozy, colorful atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made my first visit feel warm from the moment I walked in. With so many glowing reviews, I was excited to finally give it a try. I ordered the shrimp and grits, a dish I typically consider a comfort-food staple. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. While the portion of shrimp was generous, the creole-style sauce and tomatoes were so overpowering that the grits—usually the star of the dish—felt lost. The shrimp themselves were a bit stringy and lacked flavor on their own, and the grits were more watery and soup-like than creamy. I also couldn’t detect the cheddar that was listed as part of the dish. Of course, this comes down to personal taste, but overall the shrimp and grits were just okay. That said, Doozy Diner has a lovely atmosphere and great service, so I would definitely return to try other menu items. I just wouldn’t recommend the shrimp and grits.
