Solid place, just not a 5 star. Decent food and prices, and nice staff. I will definitely be making this a regular spot.

This is one of my go to places when I want a great breakfast meal. All of their meals are actually good but breakfast is one of my favorites. The service is great and the atmosphere is great as well. The prices are average but well worth it.

Really good diner food. It was very busy when we went at noon on a Sunday but the service was good and the staff was very pleasant.

My omelet was cooked perfectly, not dry, and full of healthy ingredients. Service was fast. Was able to substitute something for a healthier option. I love the Double T.

Reminds me of the neighborhood diners in NYC. Classic fare and a classic feel.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. The overall place looks extremely outdated and in serious need of renovation. The dining area didn’t feel clean or inviting, and the atmosphere alone made it hard to enjoy the visit.

The food was even worse — it tasted old and poorly prepared, like it had been sitting around far too long before being served. The texture and flavor were off, and nothing came out fresh or hot the way you would expect. It definitely did not feel worth the price.

Service didn’t make up for it either. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, and there was no real effort to check on customers or improve the experience.

I would not recommend eating here. There are much better places to spend your money if you want fresh food and a clean, updated environment.

The Double T Diner is Baltimore's hidden gem. I have loved it for many years. Yesterday, my husband and I were able to treat two special people to the joys of Double T food.
We all started off with the Cream of Crab soup which is divinely smooth and full of crab. My friends were very impressed.
My husband ordered the Crab Cake sandwich which was so huge, it looked like the Bromo Seltzer Tower. It came with French fries and Coleslaw.
One of my friends ordered the pasta special, Shrimp Pomodoro. A giant plate sized bowl arrived filled with a little pasta and a truckload of Shrimp. I couldn't believe it but he ate the whole thing! Mmm.
My other friend got the Gyro platter which came with French fries and Coleslaw. She was able to eat 1/4 of her meal and proclaimed it fabulous.
I ordered the Greek Panini and it came with Broccoli and Coleslaw. The Tzaziki sauce was incredible.
3 of us took home enough food for two more meals and I and my girlfriend took home a giant piece of Chocolate Cream Pie with Whipped cream. The best in the world.
Everyone was so happy. And my two friends are going to come back to Baltimore bringing relatives and go back to the Double T Diner.

It's a classic, chrome-clad Route 40 Diner. The menu weighs four pounds. No surprises. Good, solid diner food.

Poor service and bland food. Automatic 18% gratuity.

We were seated after waiting for a short bit. The table cleaner guy gave us water after a couple of mins. However, our waiter was no where to be seen after 25 mins of waiting. 2 groups of diner one across and another on the other aisle got sat after us. Got their orders and got their food even before our waiter came! Had to flag down the table cleaner guy to ask for our waiter.

She eventually came to our table. Apologized in the most bland monotone way. She didn't even sound sorry, she just sounded like she didn't care. After we got our food, she never came back to check on us. We also had to flag her down to get our check.

The food wasn't that great. Our milk shake tasted like bland milk. No flavour or sweetness to it at all. We also don't get the extra cup like traditional diners will when ordering milk shakes. Eggs on my on my omelet were over cooked. The lox in the omlete tasted like canned salmon.

Overall poor service and bad food. Would not go here again.

Haven’t has luck! My husband and I have been here twice both on our Friday dates nights. Both times the restaurant was closed/locked. The close time is 11pm on Fridays the first time we went we arrived at 938pm and the restaurant was closed then today we arrived at 945pm tried all the doors and the doors were locked/closed. Not a good look we won’t be going here again.
