El Agave is a neighborhood staple. It's not amazing, but its not bad either. Normally I wouldn't bother giving an average review, but they do satisfy the basic need of a good meal with decent service.

We came here on a whim, and so glad we did. I got a guava margarita on the rocks that was delicious and strong. My cousin got the seafood enchiladas. I got loaded nachos with chicken and shrimp and the birria tacos. Authentic, Hot, and AMAZING

Only had a couple beers and some Queso but I will be back.
Edit: I have eaten here no less then 30 times now. I love this place. Ice cold beer. Haven't found a meal I haven't loved. My wife likes it. My teenage kids like it. Customer for life.
Edit: Hilarious review when I saw it. I've been hundreds of times. Now people bribe me to do them favors by treating me to my spot. Fantastic place.

Love this place- service is wonderful, staff are friendly and prompt, there are adorable (wooden/artistic rendering) parrots hanging from the ceiling. Food is quick, hot, and delicious.

The service was extremely slow—even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy.
The quality of the food didn’t match the prices. My fajita mix was bland and under seasoned, and the portion size was much smaller . The staff wasn’t welcoming and practice very poor hygiene at the bar
