Worst food experience!I was very intrigued by the menus and the pictures. I had a shock after receiving the actual food. The food is nowhere near in appearance in the pictures. I asked why the food looks nice on the menu but in reality it's completely different. I also noticed some ingredients were missing. They said the pics were for illustration and the food is different. They were running out of some ingredients so they made the food with whatever was available in the kitchen. Will not go back to this place.

The food did not taste good. The baos were massive but the filling was so little. A the boa was the size of a softball but the filling was the size of a golf ball. Also got the fish ball soup. It was awful! It tasted like the fish went bad. So unfortunate! Such good reviews. However, the service was great and everything seemed clean.

Very clean. The food is wonderful in term of quantity and quality. We were full and still had the appetite. We were a group of 4, ordered 3 dishes and still had left over. We came late at 8:30. They closed at 9. We didn't know and stayed until 9:45. They didn't say a word to rush us, they served with respect and pleasure. Define will come back.

Tried this place because Yelp! stated they have dim sum. The dim sum choices just like the ambiance was very mundane and left us looking for more as well as other patrons. This place was empty! The most upsetting were their xiao long bao seafood dumplings. Seems like the wrong dough was used because it absorbed all the lovely soup you're supposed to get when you first bite into the traditional xiao long bao. The dough was very thick bun dough. We were ready with our spoons but nothing came out . . . . I apologized multiple times to my friend throughout our meal and explained this was not a typical Sunday morning dim sum experience at all. The shrimp dumplings only come steamed and can not be fried, at least that's what I was told SMH. I guess no pan to do that in the kitchen. You know that lovely crust you get on a steamed them to fried dumpling? This wild have made them significantly better. They were very bland but I'm glad I requested chili oil. Service was poor as well. We had to ask for service even though we were the only table there most of our time. We did notice other Asians coming in for pick up and some for huge trays of food. Not for what that was about. Sad experience that I will not return to.

Not worth the hype. The name having “bao” in it plus the overwhelming “5 stars” reviews really oversold this place. Upon first impression, it was clean… and that was really it… we ordered a steamed pork bun, pork dumplings and wonton soup. And that’s when all of the lowest-rated reviews made sense. The soup broth tasted like untreated tap water with a particular taste permeating into the wontons. I have never tasted wonton soup that bad. The pork dumplings were very bland: it was a bit unnerving that the wrapping was dry, but the filling inside was so wet—usually signs of frozen dumplings. The only reason why I give two stars is because the service was decent and the establishment was clean. But to serve subpar dumplings/bao really fails its name. Foobao has a lot of opportunity, but seems to lack in the passion or execution.

TLDR: Best place to get dumpling fix around Baltimore. Large dining room with expansive menu. Attentive service, great pricing and located in a nice strip mall for easy access. Cannot wait to try more food offerings.. Restaurant occupies what appears to be an old retail store in the strip mall that has a Lotte. Several large, spaced out booths make up the majority of the restaurant seating. Perfect for medium to large sized groups.. Went around 1pm on a Saturday and the place was empty, so service was exceptional. Immediately seated and ordered shortly after that. Food came out relatively quickly in several waves. Both water and hot tea were kept full during the entire meal and the check was delivered promptly. We also ended up needing to go containers which were supplied (the containers were made of very nice card stock and branded, very premium feel).. Couldn't be more satisfied with our food. The dumplings, rice and noodle dishes were fantastic. Bao buns were soft and pillowy on the outside with a delicious savory spicy pork inside. The Taiwanese fried rice and fish dumplings were the highlights of the meal. Delicate fish and chive dumplings burst with flavor upon biting through the wrapper leaving you craving another. There's nothing like well executed fried rice, but when yours has crunchy, salty pork floss on top, it takes it to another level as seen with the Taiwanese rice. Not pictured is the sauted rice cake dish we ordered which was also well done. Their menu is vast, which made our decision making tough. We cannot wait to go back again to try some other dishes.

Very spacious venue. Had steamed fresh fish. It is one of the best I ever had….very fresh and tasteful. Fish ball is very authentic. The food that is made of sticky rice is good.

This restaurant seems empty when we ordered take out, maybe it's a few minutes early before dinner time, but when we come back to pickup it's crowded! Last time, we ordered Gu Lu Pork ( sweet and sour pork) and beef ribs with teriyaki sauce as entrees. Both entrees are delicious, takeouts boxes are packed with generous portion. The Beef ribs is an excellent choice, the beef ribs are sliced very thin and marinated well, all meat part are very soft and juicy. Besides that, we also ordered steam dumplings like shumai, soup dumplings and pork bun. These snacks are delicious and tasty too, especially tbe shumai. The pork bun was ok, but we have to heat it up again prior eating it, to get fresh taste. We'll be back for more food tasting adventure!

The food wasn't good at all. The pork dumplings tasted bland, there were no flavor in the filling. The soup dumplings was really mediocre and looked exactly like the ones I used to buy frozen at the Asian grocery stores, I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Must go!! Such authentic and delicious food! They make everything handmade! The noodles, dough, fabulous egg tarts, crispy milk, all handmade!! My family all loved it! Spacious (safe social distance)and comfortable seating. Delicious and worth supporting!! They even make birthday cakes and Asian cake rolls if you call ahead! Takeout also available!

A delicious Chinese restaurant with so many comforting dishes - they had all my favorites! From the fried crispy dumplings that were bite size (these were my favorite) to soup dumplings, noodles in peanut sauce, to rice cakes stir fried with seafood, and delicious congee, this will be my regular "go to" spot for Chinese food! Everything was so good and the doughs for the dumpling skins made from scratch!

I wish I can rate this place higher because the workers were nice and they looked clean, however the food wasn’t good at all. The pork dumplings tasted bland, there were no flavor in the filling. The soup dumplings was really mediocre and looked exactly like the ones I used to buy frozen at the Asian grocery stores, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is.
