Exceptional Service & Flavor! We just left Honest indian restaurent in Catonsville a few hours ago, and seriously, I'm still raving about it! We hit up a bunch of items on the menu, and while everything we sampled was delicious, there are two things you absolutely need to know.

First, the service is a massive standout. The staff here is genuinely welcoming and so attentive. That level of care is so rare these days—it's such a good, warm gesture that honestly made our entire dinner feel special. We felt totally looked after and really appreciated that warmth and kindness.

Second, let's talk about the food! While we tried a variety of things, the absolute winner of the night was the Schezwan Fried Rice. Holy cow, that dish is a must-try. It was just perfect—the right mix of heat and incredible flavor. Seriously, we could eat that every single night!

Generous portions, a nice comfortable vibe, and high-quality food mean this place is a total win. If you’re hunting for honest, delicious Indian food in MD, and want to be treated like family, you need to check out this spot. Highly, highly recommend!

Best Punjabi Thali I had near this area. If anyone wants Indian cuisine this is the place to go. We had Dosa, Pulav and Punjabi Thali. I found Thali was the best. The inside ambience is also eye-catching. Service was very good and nice. Reasonable price with quality products. Per person 10 to 15$ USD. Highly recommended for Indian foods.
Visiting this place one more time, the quality of food is better and tasty. We ordered pani puri, sev puri, punjabi thali, bahubali sandwich, Kattapa sandwich 🥪 and Mysore masala Dosa.
They also serve masala chai and Mango lassi.
Best indian food near the Baltimore Maryland area.

The Indo-Chinese food has really tanked down. I am pretty sure chefs have changed as earlier it used to be good . Food was literally just boiled. Hakka noodles just tasted as steamed noodles, Chilly Paneer no salt and just miles off from a Chilly Paneer dish. Chinese Bhel was just not crispy at all like it used to be. I would stay away going forward.

Honestly Indian. Honestly racist. Firstly, I frequent Indian places often and I’ve never been to a place that didn’t serve rice with the food. Nevertheless we ordered three dishes and an appetizer to our knowledge Daal and Rice meant that rice was included and my bf was asked what type of rice he wanted. He said steamed and I asked for an extra side of jeer rice. They brought out everything but the jeer- all the food was very good. So when we asked for the rice someone came over to confront us asking to see our receipt to verify that we paid for the rice. At that point they had already given us the rice. She claimed that we actually didn’t pay for it and the trainee was new and didn’t realize the error. It got increasingly uncomfortable as she argued with me when we did not make the error. I insisted on leaving the rice since it felt like we were being accused of stealing. She then said no it’s not about the rice. One guess what it was really about because you should have taken it up with your employee and not the customer. Atmosphere was nice but several flies were swarming about. Whether I come back is unlikely at this point.

Good food. Staff is good too. The only thing I don’t like is going up to the counter to order food instead of the common service where someone gets your order at your table as it can get annoying standing in long lines during busy hours but i respect their ways.

We visited this restaurant recently and had a satisfying experience overall! We ordered Pav Bhaji, Dry Manchurian, Bhakhri Pizza, Vegetable Curry with Garlic Naan, and ended the meal on a sweet note with Mango Falooda topped with ice cream. Each dish was flavorful—Pav Bhaji was buttery and comforting, Dry Manchurian had the perfect crunch, and the Bhakhri Pizza was a fun, fusion twist that worked surprisingly well. The Vegetable Curry was rich and paired beautifully with the garlic naan. The Mango Falooda was refreshing and a great way to wrap up the meal.

The ambiance was classic and familiar—consistent with other locations of this chain, which adds to its dependable charm. Service was timely, and the staff was courteous.

Would definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for Indian comfort food with a few creative touches!

Tried this place for the first time and was genuinely impressed. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Hakka Noodles with Manchurian, Masala Dosa, and a white gravy Paneer dish + every item was delicious and packed with authentic flavor. The spices were well balanced, and nothing felt overly heavy or greasy.

Service was fast and friendly - the staff checked in just the right amount without being intrusive. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made the whole dining experience even better.

Definitely coming back to explore more of the menu. If you're craving solid Indian street-style and Indo-Chinese food, this spot is worth the visit!
