The food was really good! I gave 2 stars because of how my child felt after leaving. My son chose Iron Age for his birthday dinner place. I new they sung a birthday song so I requested one. I was denied because they only sing for birthdays 3 days before or 3 days after the actual birthday. I was unaware of this cause it not like that's on the website anywhere! My son is 14 and his birthday was on Nov. 9th. He kept asking me if I had put in for them to sing for him because we witnessed them sing for at least 2 other tables. I tried my best to get my waiter DUONG to change his mind but in the end we left without a birthday song from the company. We were out of town during his birthday, my son plays football so yesterday was the day we had available to go. I wish he would have chosen a different place. The look on my sons face said everything. The manager even said he was willing to sing if the birthday was a week ago but still turned us down. I just feel like he was a child and to have him walk out feeing like his family didnt love him enough to request a birthday song was not the best feeling!

We went to Iron Age for my friend’s birthday yesterday. Our wait time wasn’t too bad considering we were a large group (9 people). However, as soon as we got to the table, our server immediately started acting like we were an inconvenience. We’d ask for food and he’d immediately disappear while we were in the middle of asking for food or drinks. We asked him for a grill change and he told us “for future reference, you can’t leave it sitting empty or else the grill will get like this.” Sir, we know. That’s why we were flagging you down. We didn’t have any other meats to cook and wanted a grill change so we could cook our meats when we got them. He asked us to have a designated person to speak to him because we were all asking for too many things when he literally came over like 3 times when we were eating. Each time we’d ask for something, he’d act like we were being such an inconvenience for asking for food or drinks. When he came to change our grill, i started asking for a steamed egg and he turned around and walked away. Truly one of the worst servers I’ve ever met. We had another server while he went on a break who was AMAZING. I’m pretty sure his name was Taylor but he was joking around with us and checking in with us. We got all of the food and drinks we asked for immediately. We wanted to have him back as our server because he wasn’t treating us like an inconvenience and being so respectful to us. Towards the end of the dinner, we honestly didn’t feel comfortable asking for anything else. My friend didn’t even want to ask for WATER because of the way the server treated us. Our friend felt so bad that we came here for her birthday because of the service. We told the server it was her birthday and they didn’t do the birthday celebration thing they always do. I have had great experiences at Iron Age in the past but this truly ruined the way I see Iron Age. I don’t know the server’s name but he was a white guy who worked last night. Thank you Taylor for being a great server during the 15 minutes you covered the other guy. I hope you got part of the tip bc you actually worked for it. If you want korean bbq, maybe try another place. There are a couple korean bbq places nearby. Or go anywhere else.

Just left Iron Age. We had a white male server, named Fred but he was completely rude and gave terrible service. I had a party of 9 and it was my birthday and he treated us like we were wasting his time. Every time he came to our table and we went to order he would say “for future reference,
order for the whole table not just for yourself that’s how it works here” and would roll his eyes and huff and puff at us. He would not serve us, we had to flag him down and we had to quickly say our orders because he would immediately leave and disappear. We finally told him to please stay at our table and listen to our orders and he got upset so it was a back and forth and we asked for a different server but didn’t receive one. Every time he came back to our table it was tense and my friends and family did not want to even ask him for a water. This was one of the worst nights at Iron Age and I will not be coming back. The server named Taylor was actually sweet and nice and helped us a bit so I appreciate him a lot but the white male server Fred needs to be trained on how to be a decent server and not passive aggressive to paying customers. Service deserves 0 stars. Do not waste your time at this Iron Age, go to KPot or literally anywhere else.

We had a blast! Our waiter was ridiculously on point, super nice, and attentive. The food was ridiculously delicious, and that salad dressing was out of this world! First time here, and what a wild ride! The waiter made everything smooth and comfy. The eats were top-of-the-line and the service was GREAT! This spot was date-night perfect! Over 50 looking good on me! Even the waiter had to do a double take on my ID 😂

This was an awesome experience! Our waiter was super nice and funny, he made the experience so easy and comfortable. The food was amazing and the service was great! For my vegetarian friends - this is more focused on meat than vegetables. There are some vegetarian options available, but not a wide variety and it is limited to side dishes. I've recommended friends to Iron Age since and will continue to do so.
