Tried their steak tacos today - they were delicious!
They gave me a cake that didn't look like a cake, they would think of putting someone who knows how to make a cake. I loved going there to that place but I had a lot of disappointments with the cakes.

Delicious food
I drove up and down Route 40 the other day looking for a place to eat. Nowhere and nothing really caught my eye.Stopped for gas. Saw their little truck in the parking lot. I thought, why not? At first, I thought it was abandoned from the looks of it. But, no. They were steady plugging out food to drivers pulling up.I got the carnitas tacos. Tender. Juicy. And made fresh with a lot of love. Even the tortillas were scratch made. You can't go wrong here.

GREAT FOOD....eggs, beans, plantains, and rice for me every morning. A few other options too. Rooms are a little rugged but who cares you are on the beach and its like 10 bucks a night. Every time I'm asked about my best vacation experience I talk about this trip. Staff are great, and also insane. Don't go there if you are going to be an a hole. Wave is shifty and punchy at times. Varies between a playful rolling wave to a heaving barrel, pretty much by the hour. The drastic change between high tide and low tide made me think a tsunami was going to hit. A few years late on this review, but staying here turned into the most fun I've ever had on vacation. I think I was here in 2017
I picked up food from Taco Bell and it was very tasty. Staff was very friendly, it was a nice experience.
Al pastor 3 ?. Meat is addictive. Don't know what's in it but keep it coming. Ulcer kills me to eat spicy food but this food is to die for!

Great quick place for lunch!
Great quick place for lunch!
So my husband and I went here today for the first time. There was one person getting his food when we walked over. He gets his bag, and leaves. My husband places our order and is waiting.. Meanwhile, someone walks over, orders and gets his food. A second person comes up, orders and gets his food.. Both ordered their food and received their food before we even got ours. That's bad business. Won't be going back!
I’m an old guy from the US who spent the day here with a friend (also from the US). We rented two very comfortable chairs and an umbrella for five bucks total, which I thought was reasonable. The brothers then opened a tab for us and cheerfully helped us connect to WiFi. We had a great lunch - I too highly recommend the curry chicken - and we had a good laugh with the waiter about how much more economical it was to order the big beers, a belated discovery on my part. After spending the whole day there we went to the other side of the beach to another establishment to meet a friend of our taxi driver. After a while the waiter from Tres Hermanos came over and asked us (again very cheerfully and calling me by name) if we would settle the bill because they were closing for the day. I gave him cash with a couple extra bucks assuming he’d know it was a tip, but he literally ran all the way back to Tres Hermanos and back to where I was with the change for me. Granted I’m not a surfer or a single young woman, and we didn’t stay at the hotel, but still . . . all I can say is we had a great time at Tres Hermanos and we were treated very very well. (Yes, it’s noisy but that’s not atypical in Latin America beach dive bars.). Maybe it’s because I speak Spanish and can actually interact with staff? Often people wrongly confuse staff’s reluctance to speak English with rudeness. All I know is that I highly recommend this place and will be back.
They had the best taco's and burritos. But they disappeared. I have no idea where they moved to.
