Though the food here is good, I wouldn't recommend this place because the service is horrible and the food takes forever to finish. I've eaten here 2 times and will never go back just because the lady that takes your order is rude and unprofessional. She has no customer service skills whatsoever. I've never seen her smile or heard her say thank you or anything remotely nice to anyone. She'll bite your head off if you try to walk through the restaurant area if you are just shopping at H Mart. Plus when I ordered on both occasions, she didn't listen well and rung up the wrong item. Good thing I was paying attention, otherwise I would have been disappointed when the food was ready. If you don't mind a rude, unprofessional service go ahead and go here. I will spend my money elsewhere.

This is my favorite in store restaurant out of all the Asian markets. The menu is clear and updated. Prices are fair. Portions are great. Food is fresh. Can’t ask for more. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded depending on the time of day. Seating can be limited so keep that in mind if you’re eating in. Definitely recommend grabbing a bite if you’re stopping in H-Mart.

My daughter has sesame seeds allergy. I asked the guy making the sushi if he can make without sesame seeds. He refused and told us what’s out there is what they have. So inconsiderate!

I ordered #33. It's supposed to be ham, Sausage, tofu, vegetables and noodles.I got my food, and was wondering where the meat was. Turns out, it had sideways sliced hot dog and bacon hidden at the bottom on the bowl. Then to make it worse, I guess they ran out of bacon, so they also added TURKEY bacon. A meat that isn't even listed in the ingredients.Im sorry this is just offensive.

First off, let me say this place is nothing fancy. A few chairs, a couple tables, but the food is good. We both ordered the beef Bulgogi. Easily some of the best we've had. And we've had it all over the US. Prices are reasonable and the service is on point. We even ended up taking four orders with us before we went back home to Pennsylvania.

Summary: If you're super hungry after all the shopping then maybe.Location: Great! Ambience: Very basic. Not super clean. Price: Reasonable! Service: Not a fan. The lady behind the counter was rude.Food: Portion sizes are good. Taste is very average. Also looks like they have a good selection of items. Can't speak to how good they taste.

We had the seafood kal guksu which I was actually impressed by the broth- we weren't sure it was homemade knife cut noodles but flavor was really good especially in a cold winter day- don katsu was also good - had the perfect fry on it -

This is one of the best kept secrets in the city the food is delicious and it's always super freshIt took me a few visits to try many things from the menu since they have a huge variety of options to choose from go there with plenty of time since the servings are quite well proportionedAmong many other things the Miso Soup is delicious

Wife’s food was way fishy to the point we threw it away. I ordered the thick beef noodle #38 and after over a half hour everyone after me got served so I got my money back and left. Discrimination against the only white guy in the place. Don’t bother. There are far better Asian places almost anywhere else. Pathetic. Add to it that the cooks in the kitchen weren't wearing hat/hair nets, well.....there you go. Guy who was at the register was as clueless as it gets and couldn't care less. When they call out orders are ready, they don't use the ticket number so you see people not knowing when anything is ready. Seating area is small and messy. HMART as a whole smells like dead fish...so not a pleasant affair. Skip this place and go somewhere that appreciates you.

Ordered and waited over a half hour while everyone after me was served who ordered both after me and before, including a separate order by spouse who got it right away. Her food was so fishy we threw it away. Just disgusting. As for me, I asked for a refund and left without anything. This place discriminated against the only white person in the place...obviously. Went elsewhere for better food than this place could dream of serving. Cooks in the back had no hats or hair nets either...health code violation. Won't ever bother going back to this place. The person at the register could not have cared less, and as a result, we'll see how the health department takes this for code violations.

Hits the spot! Inside H Mart. Hwe dup bap (kind of like Korean poke or chirashi) is fresh, has roe and avocado. Order it at the sushi counter which takes credit card. All other food non sushi order at the right counter which only takes cash. Wanted seollongtang but the somori gukppap did not disappoint! Everything on this side was super tasty bc unapologetic use of MSG. Free Lipton tea service. (“I’ll remember that soup from time to time” - EK) Video of it bubbling on TikTok @kimpopusa

Was seriously craving some japchae so that's what I rodered from Manna Rang. We've tried other foods before like their fried pork cutlets and bulgogi and I like that there is always something different I can try. The japchae I ordered came with a bowl miso soup, a bowl of sticky rice (Mmmm....) and a side of kimchi. The japchae came with generous portions of beef and I loved the swoosh you get as you suck in the glass noodles. To try next time: Korean-inspired ramen! Worth a try if you are shopping at H-Mart in Ellicott City anyway.
