Every dish I’ve had here has been enjoyable. Prices are good. Customer service is good. The place is small so there’s no seating and they are always packed but work very quickly to get you in and out.

I got the beef short ribs. They're always tender and delicious. They were a little fatty this time but still good. I usually ask for the barbecue sauce on the side because if they do it, it's too much for me. I was tired so I didn't think to take a photo. The people that take the orders are not very cordial. I guess they're tired too. I know it's random, but I also really like their cabbage. That's pretty much all I like from there. A better place for soul food is Georgia Peach.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! MOST DISGUSTING FOOD EVER!!! Mac and cheese was from the box, no flavor. Collard greens, nasty. Cornbread was jiffy. And the ribs was RED!!! I expected bbq sauce and I got some weird red sauce, the meat was mushy!! I never had an experience like this in my life!!!

I really like Soul Boat, they are very nice people, but here we go, if you're a true Baltimoreon you should know the laketrout and whiting are the very same exact fish and if you don't do your research, but the fish is cut way too thin and sometimes ends up grease soaked and rubbery, they need thicker cuts, the same goes for the pork chops and the need to be seasoned but not salty but they are a little lacking in the seasoning department and they need thicker cuts, some of these chops are about ¼ in thickness and should be more like ½-⅝, the Mac & cheese doesn't seem baked and from what I've seen from the few times that I've had it is more of a cheese sauce like Velveeta than actual cheddar cheese so far these are my cons.
I love the potato salad, greens, black eyed peas, rice & gravy, yams, corn, cabbage, all of the chicken is very delicious, salmon is delicious turkey wings are delicious just a little small and need the wing tips, love the half&half juice, the cornbread is fair, the red snapper is pretty good.
My opinions are very honest.

No Complaints real lake trout freash hot on the spot , Chicken wings on point alot of carry out try to convince you its lake trout but I know my fish plus they have many different types of fish to choose from and varieties of other foods
