2 brothers from Italy opened a little pizza joint in 1994. One is here making pizza, the other in Italy. Then they switch! Im a west coast transplant. I didnt think places like this were real! The Smithsonian needs to put this place under glass and protect it so future generations know what America was supposed to look, operate, and taste like! Today was our first time eating there. Why haven’t we come sooner????? First off……when I want Italian food, I want Italians to make it. We ordered 2 pizzas, wings, sausage roll, cheesesteak and fries. The pizza……YESSSSSSS! Perfectly cooked. Perfectly seasoned. Crust was perfect-O!!! Wings were amazing and homemade blue cheese yum! My son loved his sausage roll and cheesesteak was plentiful as well. Only issue with the cheesesteak was the lettuce and tomato was missing...
First better-than-decent slice i’ve had since moving back to MD after living in Brooklyn for a few years. This spot goes toe to toe with anywhere in NYC. Only tried the regular slice, but the crust was thin & crispy, the sauce had good flavor, and it wasn’t overloaded with cheese. Killer knots.
