I got a brisket sandwich fr the truck located at The River Days fest in Annapolis’ Back Crk Park. It was almost too big to eat, with large, thick, moist chunks of perfectly cooked meat. Sauce was good complement maybe a bit understated. No room for the chips that came with it. Add a pickle instead and I’d be in hog heaven.
We were excited to try BBQ Bueno at Mary’s Land Farm food truck night last night. I ordered the burrito bowl with chicken, my daughter and Dad each got the burrito bowl with brisket. All bowls came out cold. They forgot the black beans on mine, (which I realized when I started eating) but the staff were happy to add. My bowl was drowning in BBQ sauce and jalapeño mayo. So much that I scooped it off the top and the bowl was still saturated. My dad’s bowl had the same issue....
Had the BBQ bowl at one of their food truck/tent nights and was not a fan. Multiple whole bay leaves and hardly any rice. The BBQ sauce was way too sweet. I'd try something else on their menu in the future because other's in my party got food they liked and the employees were nice. Maybe it was a one-off thing but I had to get my dinner that night elsewhere.
