Food good, service not. If you have time for a 2 hour stop for lunch, go for it!

Nice atmosphere, friendly and competent service. Despite the name, docking is not convenient. No cleats. Food is good but pricey

Had lunch with my husband. The server was very sweet and helpful. The food however was awful. Worst rockfish tacos ever. $18.00 for 2 inedible tacos. Soggy lettuce & tomato topped with rubbery, clearly not fresh rockfish. The crab bisque was dark due to so much old bay and terribly salty. The fish and chips had cold, stale potatoes and fish that literally dripped oil. Left 90 percent of our lunch. We would never waste our time here. They state they serve fresh seafood. Nope! Not fresh at all!

What a waste for a lot of money invested. Got diarrhea an hour after I got home.

Disappointed by how my disabled mom was treated.

My parents went to this restaurant for the first time with some friends and were really enjoying themselves at first. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and everything seemed to be going great.

My mom has a licensed service dog who helps her with everyday tasks due to her disability. He’s not just a pet — he’s highly trained and legally allowed to accompany her in public spaces.

They were seated on the patio, had ordered and eaten most of their meal without issue, when suddenly a staff member came over toward the end and said service dogs weren’t allowed outside. My parents were confused and explained that under the law, service dogs are permitted anywhere the public is allowed, including patios.

Then the manager came out and repeated that it was their policy to only allow service dogs inside, not outside. Even after my parents explained that this goes against the Americans with Disabilities Act, they were told that staff are required to enforce this rule and SIGNED PAPERS that they will enforce this rule by the owner of the restaurant. What made it feel even worse is that they waited until the meal was basically over and the bill was coming. It felt like they didn’t want to “deal with it” until they knew the table had already paid. Businesses can receive MAJOR fines for going against Americans with Disabilities Act and denying service.

It was frustrating and honestly pretty embarrassing for my mom to be put in that position. This was supposed to be a fun dinner with friends in Maryland, but it ended on a really sour note.

If you or someone you love relies on a service animal, I’d be cautious about coming here. The sign may say service dogs are welcome, but that’s not how my mom was treated.

The door has a sign saying service dogs are welcome. they are not! we took friends to dinner at the dockhouse. we have enjoyed the restaurant over the last couple years. we asked to sit outside and were seated there. Our friend has is physically disabled. she has braces on her legs and hands and uses a walker for mobility. she has a certified service dog from United Disablity Services. He had extensive training for two years. He assists my friend with tasks like retrieving things she drops and opening doors. He basically is her hands. we were enjoying a lovely evening and good food when we were approached by an employee telling us we couldn’t have a service dog on their patio. they have a rule that service dogs are only to be inside. We explained to her that is against the law, that service dogs are allowed everywhere but operating rooms to accompany their owner. she then sent her manager out and she again reinforced what their rule was with service dogs. we again told her this rule is against the law and the restaurant could be sued and fined. why were approached when we were almost done is ridiculous. The manager said the owner had everyone sign a paper saying they would enforce this rule. I don’t know what their problem is. Other diners expressed their disbelief over how we were treated. We won’t be back! If you are a dog lover I would encourage a you to avoid this restaurant also!

We had a wonderful brunch this past Saturday at the DocK House! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed—perfect for catching up with friends. Our waitress, Faith, was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table loved their meals, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a great spot to enjoy brunch. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is amazing! I ordered the Cobb salad and it did not disappoint at all! Everything was fresh, the bacon was crispy! No limpy, half cooked, pink bacon bits. You get the real thing here. Cooked like you do at home. My waitress was very attentive and friendly and and restaurant was clean and welcoming. Loved my experience. I highly recommend the Dock House. It's worth the drive from Washington DC! 😋

Dining by the water was great, but the food was very disappointing. It was not worth the price.

This was surprisingly good. The Salmon Cesar had a perfectly cooked salmon, something hard to find in this type of restaurant. The fish and chips had a nicely flavored beer batter and tartar sauce. If you sit outside, you will likely get a nice breeze. Overall, a good place to have dinner.

Took a chance and braved the beach traffic over the Bay Bridge for an afternoon. We had lunch at Dock House and it was as pleasant as it was tasty. Try the soft shell crab sammich and the Sriracha shrimp wrap, but be sure to save room for the tasty key lime pie! Amazing views of the waterways and Kent Narrows bridges and Jude took great care of us!
