had such a wonderful experience at Sugar Doodles Ice Cream Shop! From the moment we walked in, John made us feel incredibly welcomed. He was warm, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure our visit was outstanding. It's not every day you get that kind of customer service, it truly made our day!
The ice cream? Out of this world! Every flavor we tried was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. But the real surprise was the bubble waffles, it was our first time trying them, and we are absolutely in love! They're fun, tasty, and the perfect match for the ice cream.
The shop itself was spotless and had such a fresh, clean scent throughout. It’s clearly well taken care of, which makes enjoying your treat even more pleasant.
As a dog lover, I can’t get over how cute it is that they offer treats for dogs too! I’ll definitely be back soon, not just for more amazing ice cream, but to grab a doggie birthday treat as well.
A huge bonus: they sell Smith Island Cake, which you can only get in Maryland. If you haven’t tried this delicious layered cake, you're missing out, John says it’s a must have! We will be trying that cake also the next time around.
Sugar Doodles is a gem. Between the amazing treats, the welcoming atmosphere, and the incredible service, I can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We always look for ice cream place when we travel and this was such a wonderful experience! I was mind blown with price and how much they give you! Idk if he was the owner but he was so nice..! We would definitely revisit when we travel to MD again! Highly recommend!

What delicious ice cream! My husband and I made an impromptu visit here while passing through town. We got the flight of 4 flavors. The peach was my favorite and the apple pie was my husband's favorite. But the key lime pie and the chocolate chip cookie dough were close seconds! The staff was friendly and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating in a very cute atmosphere.
