Welcoming spot with warm vibes and atmosphere. There's a fireplace with some comfy chairs, even an acoustic guitar to play a little if you feel inclined. We got a grilled cheese for the kids, as expected on the cheese blend, though the bread was better. Coffee drinks of a cappuccino and vanilla latte were delicious, not overly sweet on the latte. We also got two acai bowls, which were a little small to my preference given the price, at least not much for fresh fruit and granola on top. Despite that, they were tasty, nutritious, and a decision you won't regret. Worth stopping in if driving by and needing an energy boost.

Prices are a bit high but the food is high quality and consistently delicious. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are among the best I've ever had, and their acai bowls are very refreshing and have a lot of options for add-ins. I really like the half-and-half option to mix different bowl bases - I go for acai and coconut. Hot and iced drinks are also very good. They offer non dairy milk alternatives.

The Java Bowl Cafe Team is the best of the best. They truly hold the Gold Standard (Ritz) when it comes to customer service. I'm a big fan of their bagels (NY style), and their cold brew formula, which is the best on the shore.

?Impossible to exaggerate how bad service, delivery of timely product & indignantly behaved staff was this past Saturday(8/17/24).
One of our party had to ask for their money back because they had to leave after waiting more than forty minutes for a breakfast bagel. Staff was glaring at us as if we were unreasonable to expect our orders in a timely fashion & appeared to be using their "social media" sensibilities going about their work. Our orders were not complex & I had to return my soda to the frig for another cold product since we waited so long. Some of the most regrettable $13 I've ever spent.

They have DELICIOUS , healthy, fresh food items and AMAZING drinks. Their smoothies are so SMOOTH, not ice chippy like most other smoothies I’ve gotten elsewhere. My favorite smoothies on the island and the little electric fireplace, chairs, and all the other decorations make the atmosphere very pleasant to dine in.

Honestly breakfast sandwich could've used some salt. Otherwise this is one of my favorite places on kent island/chester. Prices are exactly what youd expect for the quality, the service was some of the best i've ever seen in a cafe and the atmosphere was incredible. They had free wifi along with outlets/usb plugs at every table, which also had QR codes for ordering online and getting the food brought to your table. For casual cafe goers or writers/stay at home workers, this is a solid place to relax during work hours (close at 3pm) and the service/quality is Michelin level
