I love this place! Alfred is wonderful and always makes sure he says hi to our table. The servers are pleasant and positive, the atmosphere makes me glad to be there. The art on the walls are beautiful and the FOOD đđđ Our family loves coming here.

Bad Alfredâs is a neighborhood pizza, distillery, smoked meats and salads and more.. Wood fired pizzas are my favorite, smoked chicken on a salad, smoked chicken wings..all delicious.
We had a group of 11, all at one table, with separate checks and a separate bar bill. McKenzie, our server did an outstanding job navigating all of the requests. Not easy to do, I assure you.
Al and Jen, the owners are always present, working as hard as their staff. Great way to celebrate the holidays with friends. Go!

Came here on a busy day. Full restaurant. Waited patiently until they found a space to seat us. Food was great. Amazing what a good time you can have when you have patience and empathy.

Sadly dissatisfied with the service as our family arrived on a cold day and seemed to be refused service or futher acknowledgment by the staff. Dispite having a Sizable group, we were approached by the waiting staff two or three times with no further followup on timeframe for our wait. Won't be waisting their space or our time again.

Called to place an order asked what came on the steak salad over was very rude and acted like it was a dumb question. My sister went to pick up our food and he started a conversation with her about someone calling with a stupid question asking about what came on the salad not knowing it was us. We ordered burger and crab cake with tater tots. Tater tots were soggy as hell and horrible. Crab cake was fine. Owner needs an attitude adjustment.

Always a Great Time! When in Chestertown we always stop in for a drink or a meal. The menu has expanded, the staff has always been attentive and friendly. The owner is always on had, checking in and telling customers entertaining stories. Highly reccommend stopping in.

We brought in three kids ten and under in, tired from a road trip. They were clearly teetering on being unfit for public consumption. We ordered a great crab dip appetizer before realizing the kids weren't going to make it before the pizza arrived. The staff at Bad Alfred's was so terrific at accomodating us after we asked for all of our meals to immediately get boxed up to go, even bringing out the check with the boxes. Many places would not act so expeditiously and with such kindness. We even got called "such a great family," which was probably undeserved. Seriously, these folks were saints - we can't say enough positive things about them. The food, which we ate much later, was delicious.

The âsmokedâ wings tasted boiled and were chewy. I have no idea how anything smoked can have that little flavor. They were honestly the worst wings I have ever had. They were probably the worst chicken I have ever had. The pizza was decent. The atmosphere was fine. The food came out at all different times with a pretty big wait time in between. I wouldnât recommend this place but if you do, stick with the pizza.
This is our favorite dinner spot in Chestertown! AMAZING pizza (try the one with the picklesâŠyou wonât regret it), fast service, and the owner is always so friendly and welcoming, taking the time to talk to each table. Our go-to local spot!
