The selection is not as interesting as it used to be, so I bought the crunchy california roll. The "crunch" was stale rice crispish tidbits, which were not at all crunchy. The roll was tasteless except for the spicy sauce they splash over half their rolls to give them a little flavor. Giant and Harris Teeter have much better sushi. It's way past time for a new sushi supplier at Whole Foods!

I wasted 20 minutes looking for a "restaurant," only to discover this is just the sushi counter waaaaay inside the Whole Foods. Stop frustrating people pretending this is a restaurant.

I was shocked at their bad changes. Pretty much driven by cost reduction. So came with cheap thin plastic spoon and bowl. I really miss the real bowl and nicer utensils. While I was eating I really can’t stand this company’s cheap plastics which are not good for health when it contains hot soup let alone the environment. I think today will be my last meal here.
