Joy by Seven Reasons

I was really looking forward to trying this place and was super disappointed. The food was overpriced and poorly executed, with a $42 steak frites coming out cold and fatty and having to be sent back and most of the other five dishes at our table served lukewarm, generally boring and meh in flavor, and unappetizingly presented. The appetizers were much more tasty and creative, the two desserts we tried were delicious, and the decor was adorable (though the bathroom smelled of sewage). Not sure what's going on with the Seven Reasons group but I haven't been impressed.

It is always a pleasure to be there! The personnel are so kind and caring. And the food and cocktails are delicious. We like to go there for happy hour and dinner.

Lovely experience. Was surprised to see the place pretty empty on a Sunday but that made it more romantic and intimate for us. I enjoyed the service from beginning to the end. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and gave some great recommendations. The passion fruit cocktail was smokey, smooth, and delicious! First time I've been able to finish a drink. Food was delicious My man loved the ceviche and I really enjoyed the scallops appetizer and branzino. I wanted the chocolate chip cookie but unfortunately it wasn't on their menu anymore!

This was such a fabulous venue, from the decor to the ambiance. The staff was so friendly and helpful, very attentive and kind. I absolutely loved everything about the experience, but I'm not surprised. Once I got the steak, I suddenly made the connection that I used to love ordering from Seven Reasons back during the COVID lockdown. Their food is and always has been amazing. All to say, Joy brought a ton of joy to my birthday evening, and I will be back!

I can't believe this restaurant is less than 10 minutes from my home! No need to go downtown with a place like this so close by. Everything we ordered was delicious. Wonderful ambiance. I'll be back. Often.

The food was delicious with some innovative touches that made the food tastier. The ceviche was remarkable, fresh, and on point, not too sour, not too salty. The scallops were sweet, with a hint of spicy oil that made the combo tasty. I would definitely come back to taste other items in the menu.

I went for the Mahjong lessons and had some food and drink during that. The lessons were excellent! Food was tasty.

We shared generous portions of an appetizer, entree and dessert, all delicious. The music was too loud for easy conversation for those with hearing aids.

Really wanted to love this place. The ambiance is great and the parking was easy. But of the 2 appetizers and 2 entrees, only the ceviche was excellent. The cauliflower entree was disappointing. Maybe it was an off night.

10/10 definitely recommend! From the front of the house, to the service, to the eclectic drinks, to the astounding food, all were amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Joy by Seven Reasons is amazing! The chef sent out little surprises like tequenos and a little white chocolate matcha turtle treat. We loved our experience there and the attention to detail. Can't wait to go back for brunch!

Joy by Seven Reasons hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month event for our child's school. They prepared a special family-friendly menu and had live music. It was a real treat.

Exceptional restaurant. Food is so interesting with a Venezuelan flair. Service tops. Ambience lovey. Five stars all the way!

We really enjoyed our brunch at Joy. Our waitress was amazing and fun to talk to. We also had really great cocktails and did our own little tasting. All in all everything was good and we will be back for dinner and mahjong.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was just as amazing, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. To make the night even more special, they surprised me with complimentary champagne for my birthday. It truly made me feel celebrated. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and the exceptional hospitality!
