Food is delicious. Service is poor. The hostess was also the waitress and she was primarily on her phone so service was eh. There were two other employees, not sure what their role was, and sat at a table. The food and ambiance is great so it's unfortunate the service is poor.

I’m not sure if the owners read recent reviews or the last few people just were there on bad days, but we had a great experience. We got the crab cake Benedict, which had plenty of crab. It was a bit salty for us, but we also don’t use too much salt, so others may love that.We also got the mushroom Reuben, which was so good that I forgot to take a pic before eating half. The service was great and quick. It’s not cheap, but seems on par for DC prices ??‍♀️

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. My family went to celebrate my grandma's 82nd birthday. We made reservations and asked if we would be able to have the cake stored in the refrigerator and they said it's no problem. When we arrived we were denied by the host and the manager Ashley came over and said that she cannot allow outside food in the restaurant. We complied because it wasn't a big enough deal on a special occasion so while we waited well over 45 minutes for our food to arrive we started singing happy birthday. The manager Ashley comes over and tells us that if we don't lower our voices we would have to leav. This happened around 6 o'clock on a Tuesda and there were only 4 other people having dinner whom all joined in with the singing. Again we complied, because we aren't confrontational people plus it's my grandmother's birthday. Finally our food comes and it was all wrong, my mom ordered the salmon which was really mushy inside, my brother ordered the rigatoni and asked for no mushrooms which were not omitted, my sister ordered the shrimp tacos with the scallion salsa on the side and they put it on there anyway. the whole dinnerwas such a miserable experience, they really just ruined my granny's birthday, and all the manager Ashley said was she would talk to the kitchen staff in the rudest manner that was so unbelievable.

The service here is just as disgusting as the food. I ordered the crispy salmon and was really mushy as if it was frozen. I couldn't even eat it and when I told the manager they refused to offer another choice or replace it even though I didn't even take a bite out of it. The manager Ashley was really rude and unprofessional. This place is overrated and should have people with better attitudes and service.

Terrific food - all dishes. Menu is large enough to provide good variety for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Very friendly service; clean, nice atmosphere. Validates parking. Third time erring here and has not disappointed.

What a beautiful restaurant with welcoming staff! The menu is unusually different, in a very delicious way. We had the butternut soup and beet falafel for appetizers (good portions - could share the falafel), salmon, mushroom ruben with pickled onions (yum) and the shrimp tacos. We shared the gluten free cookies too! Worthy of a return, it was such a nice time to visit with friends during the holiday. We weren't rushed, and we all thought the meal was delicious and very reasonable!

Hostess left us standing and seated gentleman who arrived after us even though we had a reservation. Drinks served after meal. Shrimp salad had a refrigerator taste, had no olive oil for salad so had to use prepared dressing which is not my preference. Had no ice cream which was offered as part of a few of the desserts. Will never go back. Have tried this place a few times and it never gets better.

Loved the mushroom and black bean burger with a side of sweet potatoes. Ordered the burger as a lettuce wrap. Generous portions. 3 stars due to service: took forever to order & forever to get the check. Water pitcher was never refilled & couldn't find a server to fill it. Maybe there's more attentive staff at dinner rather than at lunch which is when I Ayer there with my friend.

Second time here. First time in June for dinner and then came for lunch (ate off brunch menu) in December. Restaurant is spacious and simple and clean. There is plenty of outdoor dining with headlamps. Service was great. Food was just as good as it was the first time. Great options for everyone for someone in the mood for red meat, poultry, and seafood. There is no pork on the menu. There are plenty of vegan and GF options! The seasoning and cooking were perfect. Nothing was overly salty. Enjoyed the crispy spirulina rice, mushroom rueben, crispy salmon, the Aleppo-roasted sweet potatoes (amazing), butternut squash soup Alcohol-containing drinks and non-alcohol drink options are very tasty. The beet juice with sliced beets and dried orange slices was refreshing!

Terrible food. Nutritious food does not need to be expensive for poorly prepared cheap ingredients. The crab cake, priced at $25, was made up of crab flavored mush with 2 microscopic lumps of white crab meat. The shrimps in the shrimp salad and taco were over cooked and rubbery. The other dishes were assembled without flavor. I will get much better food from the salad bars at Wholefood or Fresh nearby at a fraction of the cost. Perhaps, it is a nice place for you to rent a resting space with some complimentary greens that were threw together on a big plate. After spending $30 a person on an appetizer size main dish, we needed to get a slice of pizza next door.

Not an extensive menu, but what they have is worth a try! Various vegetarian and gluten-free options are available and well-marked on the menu. Wine and cocktail selections are decent, but not a beer-lover's place with only 2 choices when I had lunch yesterday! Service was attentive and friendly. I hope to go back soon and try some more dishes.

We had to try this place for lunch and very glad we did. The sunflower hummus was a great start and we were brought more peta when we finished what we had. The hamburger was very good with the sweet potatoes wedges. I had the crispy salmon and it was good as well.

The first meal we had here was good -- veggie burgers, watercress guacamole, nice service. But two wines by the glass were not available. This time, no sparkling wine, no beer and only 1 of a half dozen reds by the glass were available. $15/ glass. Note to management, find comparable substitutes for what you don't have or change the menu. We left
